Today's Betting Tips: 02/02/2024
Here at betting.bet our betting experts will offer their opinions on both events, providing odds from popular bookmakers, Ladbrokes.
The pick of the domestic football fixtures today is in the Sky Bet Championship where Bristol City welcome Leeds United to Ashton Gate. Today also sees the start of the 2024 Six Nations Championship with a match between tournament favourites, France and last year’s Grand Slam winners, Ireland. Here at betting.bet our betting experts will offer their opinions on both events, providing odds from popular bookmakers, Ladbrokes Sportsbook.
Bristol City v Leeds United: Leeds United to win - 7/10
In-form Leeds United can move into the Sky Bet Championship’s automatic places for 24 hours at least with three points at Ashton Gate and there’s probably no better time to visit Bristol City. The Robins are without a league win since Boxing Day and may have one eye on next Wednesday’s FA Cup fourth round replay at Nottingham Forest. Check out our Bristol v Leeds betting preview for more insights.
France v Ireland: Damian Penaud to score a try at any time - 11/10
France will hope to make home advantage count as Ireland begin life without record points scorer, Jonny Sexton. France to win is generously priced at 8/15 but our pick of the bets comes in the ‘any time try scorer’ market. Damian Penaud was the Six Nations top try scorer in 2023 with five tries and followed up with a further six tries at the Rugby World Cup. The French winger is 11/10 to score a try at any time in Marseille.
