Fulham v Arsenal Betting Suggestions

Team news, form, betting tips and free bets!

Premier League leaders, Arsenal make the relatively short trip across London at the weekend as they take on Fulham at Craven Cottage on Sunday afternoon. The Gunners go into the weekend with a five-point lead at the Premier League's summit and will be confident of moving another step closer to a first title since 2004. Team News

Both Fulham and Arsenal could be missing some key players on Sunday. The hosts are without Joao Palhinha as he serves the final match of his two-game ban. Tom Cairney, Neeskens Kebano and Layvin Kurzawa all remain absent.

Martin Odegaard and Kieran Tierney both missed Arsenal's Europa League trip to Sporting through illness but may return on Sunday. Eddie Nketiah and Leandro Trossard remain injury doubts for The Gunners.

Form

Fulham lost at Brentford last time out to end a seven-game unbeaten run in all competitions. Marco Silva's side are still flying high in seventh.

Arsenal recorded a last-gasp win at home to Bournemouth last weekend to extend their winning streak in the Premier League to four league games.

Betting Tips

An away trip to Fulham could prove a real test to Arsenal's title credentials and one we're confident that they'll come through. The Gunners should avoid defeat but will they do enough to take all three points? In the double chance market, a draw / away win is a safe bet. At 1/6 it may be a little too short to consider as a single bet but could prove a solid foundation for any bet builder.

With fitness doubts over Eddie Nketiah, Martin Odegaard and Leandro Trossard along with Gabriel Jesus' continued absence, Arsenal's attacking hopes fall heavily on the shoulders of Buyako Saka and Gabriel Martinelli. We could make a strong case for either player in the goal scorer markets however, we going to go for man of the moment, Reiss Nelson.

The 23-year-old scored a last-gasp winner against Bournemouth in Arsenal's last Premier League fixture and now has three league goals from three substitute appearances in the league this season. Nelson could be in line for his first league start for Arsenal since the 2019/20 season and we expect him to grab that chance with both hands. Nelson is superb value at 8/1 whilst at 3/1 he has to be considered to score at any time.

Match Odds

  • Fulham: 5/1
  • Draw: 17/5
  • Arsenal: 8/15
