Darts from Ally Pally

Closer to home, the 2024 PDC World Darts Championship gets underway at Alexandra Palace on December 15th. The final at ‘Ally Pally’ is scheduled for January 3rd. Last year’s champion, Michael Smith is priced at 10/1 to defend his title whilst last year’s runner-up and three-time winner, Michael van Gerwen is 7/2 to become world champion for the first time since 2019.

World number three, Luke Humphries has never been beyond the quarter-final of the World Darts Championship but he is the 3/1 market leader thanks to a superb 2023. The 28-year-old has already won the World Grand Prix, Grand Slam of Darts and the Players Championship Finals this year.

Festive Football Calendar

Keeping with tradition, the festive season provides an exceptionally high number of domestic football matches. The stand-out Premier League fixture of the month will see Liverpool host Arsenal at Anfield. The current top two go head-to-head on December 23rd.
