The Premier League’s top three all won at the weekend and this season’s title race seems to be going down to the wire. Manchester City are chasing a record-breaking fourth successive Premier League title and the timely return of fitness of star duo Erling Haaland and Kevin de Bruyne may well give Pep Guardiola’s side the edge.
Only two points currently separate the top three, Liverpool are the league leaders with 54 points from their 24 matches whilst both Manchester City and Arsenal have earned 52 points. Manchester City have played one game fewer than their title rivals with their game in hand over Brentford scheduled for February 20th.
March could be a season-defining month for Manchester City with Premier League fixtures against Manchester United (h), Liverpool (a) and Arsenal (h) all scheduled within three weeks of each other,

Real Madrid’s odds of 1/50 to win a record 36th La Liga title confirm that the title race in Spain is now all-but-over. Real Madrid went into the weekend with a two-point lead over surprise package, Girona with Barcelona six points further adrift. A Jude Bellingham-inspired Real Madrid eased past rivals, Girona with a 4-0 win at the Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday whilst Barcelona were held to a 3-3 draw at home to Granada on Sunday.
With 14 games to play, Real Madrid now have a five-point lead over Girona and a commanding 10-point cushion over Barcelona.

Bayer Leverkusen are closing in on a first ever Bundesliga title after a massive result at the weekend. Xabi Alonso’s side are in the midst of a record-breaking season in Germany but were still second in the outright betting behind German giants, Bayern Munich. However, it is all change in the outright betting as Bayer Leverkusen inflicted a 3-0 win on their title rivals to move five points clear at the summit.
Bayer Leverkusen remain unbeaten in all competitions this season but with manager, Xabi Alonso backed to replace Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool, this could be his only chance of lifting the German Bundesliga title.

Inter Milan have for a while been backed to win a 20th Scudetto but any glimmer of hope the chasing pack may have had were dashed this past week. Inter Milan edged out Juventus 1-0 in their top-of-the-table clash then six days later survived a scare in Rome. The league leaders trailed Roma 2-1 at half-time on Saturday but bounced back with three unanswered second-half goals to move seven points clear of Juventus. Juventus are tipped to beat Udinese on Monday but that will still leave them four points adrift of Inter Milan in the Serie A title race.
