The second legs of the play-offs in both the UEFA Europa League and Europa Conference League will be played on Thursday and with so many ties hanging in the balance, there are plenty of betting opportunities available. Today’s daily betting tips include odds from BoyleSports and feature matches in both the Europa League and Europa Conference League.

Toulouse v Benfica: Benfica to win - 20/23

Benfica hold a one-goal advantage from the first left after snatching a 2-1 win in Lisbon thanks to a 98th minute penalty. Whilst Toulouse were unfortunate not to take at least a draw back to France with them, we’re tipping Benfica to finish the job at the Stadium de Toulouse. Toulouse took seven points from a possible nine at home in the group stage but their recent home record in Ligue 1 has been patchy at best. Thursday’s hosts have won just one of ten home league games this season and  we fully expect the Portuguese Primeira Liga leaders, Benfica, to finish the job in the second leg.

Sporting Lisbon v Young Boys: Sporting Lisbon to win - 3/10

Our second selection is the side embroiled in a thrilling battle at the top of the Primeira Liga table with Benfica. Like their compatriots, we believe that Sporting Lisbon will progress to the next round of the Europa League. Sporting Lisbon hold a commanding 3-1 lead over their Swiss opponents ahead of the second leg so may be tempted to rotate their squad with their domestic title challenge in full swing but we think such a move is unlikely. At home and at full strength, Sporting Lisbon will be too strong for Young Boys.

Bodo/Glimt v Ajax: Ajax to win - 17/10

We unsuccessfully tipped Ajax to win the first leg in Amsterdam and although fortunate to escape with a 2-2 draw following two stoppage time goals, we’re sticking with the Dutch giants ahead of the second leg. Ajax have recovered from a tough start to the season that saw them languishing near the foot of the Eredivisie table and drop out of the Europa League but they could be a real dark horse in this tournament.

Eintracht Frankfurt v Union Saint-Gilloise: Eintracht Frankfurt to win - 21/20

This tie is finely balanced at 2-2 after the first leg but German side, Eintracht Frankfurt should make home advantage count on Thursday. Union Saint-Gilloise raced into a 2-0 lead after just ten minutes in the first but having thrown away their lead, the momentum is definitely with Eintracht Frankfurt. In the Bundesliga, four of Eintracht Frankfurt’s five defeats this season have come away from Deutsche Bank Park.
