AFC Bournemouth, Girona, Lyon & Brest to win - 16.31/1
We have an action-packed day of football ahead of us on Sunday with top-class fixtures scheduled to take place in the English Premier League and on the continent. With so much football taking place, at betting.bet we’ve narrowed down our betting tips to just a few of the day’s standout ties. Whilst the likes of Manchester City (2/7), Bayer Leverkusen (2/5) and Celtic (2/5) are all expected to win this weekend, all of our selections offer far more generous odds. Sunday’s betting odds come from our partners at Ladbrokes.
Burnley v AFC Bournemouth: AFC Bournemouth to win - 21/20
AFC Bournemouth aren’t in great form at the moment, failing to win any of their past seven league games; however, today’s opponents, Burnley, are arguably in even worse form. Burnley have gone eight league games without a win and lost the last three by a combined 11-1 scoreline. AFC Bournemouth have lost just one of four away games in all competitions in 2024 and could further compound the misery of relegation-threatened Burnley at Turf Moor on Sunday.
Mallorca v Girona: Girona to win - 23/20
Girona ended a three-game winless run with a 3-0 win at home to Rayo Vallecano last time out and we’re backing them to keep their faint title hopes alive on Sunday. Only Real Madrid have earned more points away from home in La Liga than Girona this season whilst have won just three of 13 home league games. Mallorca may have made it through to the Copa del Rey final but in La Liga they have won just one of their past eight matches.
Brest v Le Havre: Brest to win - 4/7
Brest have been the surprise package in Ligue 1 this season and on Sunday they have an opportunity to consolidate their top four position at home to strugglers, Le Havre. Brest have lost just once at home in the league this season and are currently enjoying a 12-game unbeaten run in Ligue 1. Meanwhile, Le Havre have just one away win in the league all season and are winless in their last six matches in all competitions.
Lyon v Lens: Lyon to win - 31/20
Lyon’s fightback from a disastrous start to the season continues as four straight wins have moved them clear of the relegation zone and up into mid-table security. Lyon now have an outside chance of qualifying for Europe which just one month ago seemed incomprehensible. Lens have stuttered recently, a draw at Reims followed by a 3-2 defeat at home to Monaco sees them drop to 7th in Ligue 1 and with just four wins on the road this season, we’re backing a resurgent Lyon on Sunday.
