Bayern Munich, Ipswich Town, Sheffield Wednesday & Bradford City to win - 11/2

On Tuesday evening there are two UEFA Champions League round of 16 second leg ties taking place as well as no fewer than 15 matches throughout the English Football League. Whilst we’re almost spoilt for choice from a betting perspective, here at betting.bet we’ve narrowed today’s daily betting tips down to four selections. Today’s match odds are provided by Interbet.

Bayern Munich v Lazio: Bayern Munich to win - 1/4

Bayern Munich aren’t in great form currently but Tuesday’s opponents, Lazio are one of the few sides left in the Champions League arguably in worse form than the German giants. Since earning a first-leg win in Rome just under three weeks ago, Lazio have lost three of four matches in Serie A. Bayern Munich’s Bundesliga title hopes are all but over which leaves the UEFA Champions League as their only hope of major silverware this season.

Ipswich Town v Bristol City: Ipswich Town to win - 11/20

Ipswich Town recorded a fifth straight win at the weekend to move back into the Sky Bet Championship’s automatic promotion places. The season will undoubtedly have many more twists and turns but on Tuesday’s we’re backing the Tractor Boys to consolidate their position within the top two. Bristol City visit Portman Road on the back of a dismal showing in last weekend’s Severnside derby. Bristol City have now lost three successive league games and have just one win in their past six away games in all competitions.

Sheffield Wednesday v Plymouth Argyle: Sheffield Wednesday to win - 10/11

The Sheffield Wednesday great escape could be on as three straight wins move The Owls to within three points of safety. Ike Ugbo has been a revelation since signing on loan in January. Ugbo has six goals in seven Championship starts for Sheffield Wednesday and he could prove the difference once more this evening. Opponents, Plymouth Argyle lost 2-0 at home to Ipswich Town at the weekend, extending their record to just one win in the last seven in all competitions. Incredibly, a home win at Hillsborough on Tuesday will move Sheffield Wednesday to within two points of Plymouth Argyle.

Bradford City v Doncaster Rovers: Bradford City to win - 4/5

Bradford City head into this evening’s fixture well-rested after their match at the weekend was postponed. The Bantams have won three successive matches in League Two without conceding a goal and host a Doncaster Rovers side that’s opened up a 12-point gap between themselves and the bottom two. Doncaster Rovers were unlucky not to win at in-form Walsall at the weekend but with their League Two status all-but-assured, you have to question whether they’ll quite be at the same level that they were at the weekend.
