World number one, Humphries went on to win overall for a second week running to move to the top of the Premier League table. There is nothing to suggest that Peter Wright will reverse last week’s result on Thursday so we have to back Luke Humphries to take the first quarter-final of the evening.

Michael van Gerwyn is excellent value to win the third quarter-final at the 3Arena.

Littler has lost four straight semi-finals, including a 6-3 loss to Michael Smith two weeks ago. However, his average of 114 against Michael van Gerwen last week is the highest in the competition so far and cannot be ignored. It seems just a matter of time before Luke Littler clinches his first win in the Premier League and he is taking on arguably one of the most inconsistent players across the first seven weeks of the competition.
