England and Belgium continue their Euro 2024 preparations on Tuesday as the two nations meet at Wembley Stadium. As we look ahead to Tuesday's international friendly here at betting.bet we have all the latest team news and betting tips as well as the best free bet offers and odds from our partners at Ladbrokes.

Form

Both England and Belgium were in action last week but neither nation won or even managed a single goal in their respective fixtures. England lost 1-0 to Brazil at Wembley whilst Belgium played out a goalless draw against Republic of Ireland in Dublin.

International friendly highlights: England 0-1 Brazil

Generally the recent form of both nations has been solid. England eased to Euro 2024 qualification by topping Group C and remained unbeaten in ten internationals throughout 2023.  Belgium also topped their qualifying group, finishing one point above Austria and ten clear of Sweden. Like England, Belgium were unbeaten in all ten matches played last year which signified real progress having won just six of their previous sixteen internationals.

England Team News

England’s preparations have been hampered by a series of withdrawals before and after the defeat to Brazil. Kyle Walker limped out of the loss to Brazil and has returned to Manchester. Other notable absentees from Tuesday’s squad include captain, Harry Kane, Bukayo Saka, Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw.

Harry Kane’s absence is likely to see Declan Rice captain England as he earns his 50th cap whilst Brentford forward, Ivan Toney is likely to lead the line for the Three Lions. Tuesday’s match against Belgium is England’s last international before Gareth Southgate names his squad for the European Championships. Tuesday will offer one more chance to impress for fringe players such as Cole Palmer, Kobbie Mainoo, Jarrod Bowen and Jarrad Brainthwaite.

Betting Tips

With a place in Southgate’s squad this summer at stake, we’re expecting to see a much-improved England performance against Belgium compared to what we saw on Saturday against Brazil. The Three Lions look excellent value for the win at 3/4.

Ollie Watkins failed to impress against Brazil, registering just one shot on goal during his 90 minutes on the pitch at Wembley. On Tuesday it’ll be Ivan Toney’s turn to stake a claim for a spot in England’s Euro 2024 squad. Toney has been in decent form since returning from an eight-month ban and is priced at 29/20 to score at any time.

In complete contrast to Toney’s record of one cap and zero goals for England, Romelu Lukaku heads to Wembley with Belgium having scored 83 goals in 113 internationals. Lukaku is an obvious choice if looking for a potential goalscorer for the visitors on Tuesday and at 21/10, Lukaku is a solid option to score at any time.

We have tipped a player to score at any time for both nations on Tuesday, therefore a sensible option would be to support both teams to score at odds of 17/20.
