MUKAAFAH - 5/2

Three recent victors, along with Imperial Guard who encountered an exceptionally talented horse in his last race, are set to make the opening novice race at Kempton a compelling spectacle. MUKAAFAH stands a strong chance to triumph. Kevin Philippart de Foy's Shadwell-trained colt impressively led from start to finish, leveraging a favorable rail draw over the same course and distance back in November. The performance gains additional merit as several competitors from that race have since achieved success (specifically the fourth, sixth, and eighth place finishers, with the latter winning twice). Expectations are high for Jim Crowley to take an aggressive lead from stall one once again.

CRACKING GOLD - 8/13

After securing victories in a maiden race over this course and distance, as well as winning a novice race at Lingfield with ease despite a penalty, CRACKING GOLD is now tipped to ascend through the handicap ranks. The Godolphin colt he surpassed at this location went on to win effortlessly in his next outing, and Cracking Gold's performance in the final half-furlong at Lingfield was notably striking. This £15,000 class 0-95 event appears less challenging than anticipated. Despite carrying a weight penalty of more than 5lbs with a rating of just 88, Cracking Gold is expected to dominate his five competitors.

ABRAAJ - 5/4

Simon Pearce, a trainer based in Newmarket, has had a successful recent spell with his Flat racing contingent, seeing seven out of his eight horses either winning or finishing in the placing. ABRAAJ has sometimes presented challenges, but his performances post-wind surgery suggest a significant turnaround. He achieved a narrow third-place finish behind a heavily favored King Power horse over the same course and distance, prior to securing a victory over a competitor who went on to win by four lengths in their next outing at Southwell. The subsequent 4lb increase in weight seems relatively manageable given his recent form.
