Chelsea v Everton
Chelsea to win - 7/10
Chelsea have become hard to beat in recent weeks and Mauricio Pochettino’s side now have a real chance of achieving European qualification this season. The Blues are unbeaten in seven league games and a win on Monday will move them to within three points of sixth with a game in hand.
Everton are the visitors to Stamford Bridge and the Toffees need to address their alarming away form if they are to avoid the drop this season. Everton’s last away league game came back on December 16th, earning just three points from a possible 24 since.
Osasuna v Valencia
Valencia to win - 13/5
Valencia are capable of taking all three points from Monday’s trip to Osasuna but we’re always apprehensive about backing the away team in La Liga as very few top leagues statically offer such a significant advantage to the home team. Valencia have lost eight times on the road this season but they are within touching distance of the top six and Osasuna have not won at home against any of La Liga’s current top nine sides.
Atalanta v Hellas Verona
Atalanta to win - 4/9
Atalanta produced a shock 3-0 win against Liverpool at Anfield last week to put themselves in the box seat for a place in the Europa League semi-final and whilst one eye will be on the return leg on Thursday, this evening, they should prove too good for a Hellas Verona with two away wins in the league all season.
Atalanta are likely to be playing Europa League football again next season and can open up a four-point gap over seventh-placed Lazio with a win on Monday. Hellas Verona are only sat outside of the relegation zone in Serie A on goal difference and with that particular battle set to go down to the wire, they will not want to be leaking too many goals in a game they’re unlikely to take anything from. Under 2.5 match goals could be a solid alternative bet at 11/10.
