The Premier League of Darts heads overseas this week with night twelve of the league stage set to take place in Rotterdam. As we look ahead to another exciting night of top-class darts action, here at betting you’ll find the latest Premier League news and the latest darts betting odds courtesy of tournament sponsors, BetMGM.

Michael Smith v Luke Littler

Luke Littler just missed out on a hat-trick of night wins last week as the 17-year-old was defeated by Michael van Gerwen in the final in Birmingham. Littler remains in first position in the Premier League and looks well on course to qualify for the play-offs next month.

Thursday’s opponent, Michael Smith has won three of their four head-to-heads in the Premier League and is teetering just outside of the top four. Smith was a losing semi-finalists last week, going down to a 6-4 defeat at overall winner, Michael van Gerwen.

Predicted Winner: Michael Smith

Rob Cross v Gerwyn Price

Rob Cross and Gerwyn Price will contest a huge second quarter-final of the evening as both players struggle to hang onto the coattails of the top five. The loser of this fixture is unlikely to participate in the play-offs whilst the winner will be thrust right back into contention.

Gerwyn Price reached the final of the International Darts Open in Germany at the weekend and in the Premier League he has regularly played well without quite getting over the line. Price and Cross have met twice in this year’s Premier League, earning one win apiece.

Predicted Winner: Gerwyn Price

Peter Wright v Nathan Aspinall

Peter Wright’s miserable Premier League campaign showed no signs of letting up last week as he was consigned to a ninth quarter-final defeat in eleven weeks. In contrast, Nathan Aspinall’s defeat to MVG last week was his first quarter-final loss in six weeks.

Aspinall is still right in contention for a play-off place having occupied a top four position since night seven.

Predicted Winner: Nathan Aspinall

Michael van Gerwen v Luke Humphries

Home favourite, Michael van Gerwen got back to winning ways in Birmingham last week and the seven-time Premier League champion will want to win once more in his own backyard. MVG racked up four straight quarter-final losses between nights five and eight but he is back in form ahead of his Netherlands homecoming.

Victory for van Gerwen will see him leapfrog world number one, Luke Humphries and move back into the top two whilst if results go his way, MVG could leave Rotterdam on top of the Premier League table once more.

Predicted Winner: Michael van Gerwen
