Coventry City are mathematically out of the running for a play-off spot in the Championship. A run of just one point from four matches has left them eight points adrift of the top six with just two games to play.
Tuesday’s visitors, Ipswich Town are also winless in four league games as neither they or Leeds United seem to be able to put a run of results together in the race for automatic promotion. A point on Tuesday will see Ipswich Town promoted if they can better Leeds United’s result on Saturday whilst a win at the Coventry Building Society Arena will leave them needing only a point on Saturday to guarantee their return to the top-flight.
