Chelsea, Marseille, Roma and Aston Villa to win - 26.12/1

There are some huge fixtures on Thursday featuring matches in the English Premier League and both the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Europa Conference League. Here at betting.bet we’ve put together today's football betting tips with odds courtesy of Coral.

Chelsea v Tottenham Hotspur

Chelsea to win - 5/4

Chelsea have an excellent recent record against Spurs and denting their fierce rivals’ hopes of a top four finish will give the hosts extra motivation on Thursday. Neither club is in great form at the moment having both failed to win any of their past two league games but home advantage should give Chelsea the edge at Stamford Bridge.

Olympique Marseille v Atalanta

Marseille to win - 8/5

The difference in Marseille’s home and away form this season has been like night and day. Whilst the French side have lost just one home league game all season and remain unbeaten at the Stade Velodrome in this season’s Europa League, their away form has been abysmal. On the road, Marseille have won just two matches in Ligue 1 whilst they have failed to win the away leg of any of their three Europa League knockout ties to date. Home advantage on Thursday should see them take a lead into next week’s second leg but Atalanta will by no means be out of the tie.

Roma v Bayer Leverkusen

Roma to win - 12/5

Bayer Leverkusen’s record-breaking season continues on Thursday with Xabi Alonso’s side still unbeaten in all competitions during the 2023/24 campaign. The newly-crowned Bundesliga champions are the bookies’ favourites to go on to win the Europa League this season but Roma, away is as tough an assignment as they’ve faced in the competition. Roma defeated Milan home and away in the quarter-finals whilst in Serie A they are much improved under Daniele De Rossi, losing just one of their past ten league games.

Bayer Leverkusen can count themselves fortunate to still have their unbeaten record intact, scoring after 89 minutes in three straight draws against West Ham United, Borussia Dortmund and Stuttgart. Could their luck be about to run out at the Stadio Olimpico?

Aston Villa v Olympiakos Piraeus

Aston Villa to win - 4/11

By their own standards Olympiakos have experienced an underwhelming domestic season in Greece. Having finished third in the Super League's regular season they currently sit fourth in the play-offs. In Europe, Olympiakos started the season in the Europa League but dropped down into the Europa Conference League after finishing third behind West Ham United and SF Freiburg in the group stage. In the Europa Conference League the Greek side needed extra-time to overcome Maccabi Tel Aviv whislt their quarter-final tie against Fenerbahce went to a penalty shootout.

Aston Villa manager, Unai Emery has a record to stand up against anyone in European competition having won the Europa League on a record four occasions. Under his guidance, Aston Villa have charged to fourth in the Premier League and look concourse to qualify for next season's UEFA Champions League whilst in the Europa Conference League knockout stage they have already earned impressive wins over Ajax and Lille.
