Bookmakers, Betfair have slashed Sancho’s odds of a call up from 20/1 to just 11/2 in less than 24 hours.
Sancho was named man of the match on Wednesday evening as Borussia Dortmund took a major step towards securing a place in the UEFA Champions League final. The Germans are now just 21/20 to make the final at Wembley Stadium whilst they are 7/1 to be crowned champions of Europe for a second time. Jadon Sancho is not the only out of favour England international to rediscover his best form on loan in Germany. Eric Dier has emerged as a key player for Bayern Munich and the on-loan Spurs defender has been shortened into 7/2 to book a spot in England’s final 26-man squad.
