The Sky Bet Championship season draws to a close on Saturday with all 24 second-tier clubs set to contest their 46th and final matches of a long campaign. Leicester City have already been crowned champions but the second automatic promotion spot is still up for grabs whilst the play-off and relegation places are not yet confirmed.

As we look to build one final winning EFL acca for the season, our free football betting tips include odds from our betting partners at Betfair. As discussed in our Free Bets v ACCA Insurance feature, Betfair offer money back as cash if one leg of your 5+ leg acca lets you down whilst additionally offering a cash bonus of up to 50% on all winning accas.

Leeds United v Southampton

Leeds United to win - 1/2

A run of just one win in five matches has left Leeds United three points outside of the automatic promotion places with just one game to win. For Leeds United to pinch second place they need to win and hope that Ipswich Town lose at home to Huddersfield Town.

Three points at Elland Road shouldn’t be too hard to come by with Southampton certain to finish fourth and arriving in Yorkshire on the back of three straight losses. With a play-off semi-final on the horizon, Southampton would be forgiven for not giving 100% at Elland Road.

Plymouth Argyle v Hull City

Hull City to win - 10/11

There’s arguably more at stake at Home Park than at any other Sky Bet Championship ground on Saturday. Hosts, Plymouth Argyle are one point above the drop zone and need to better Birmingham City’s result to guarantee their survival whilst visitors, Hull City are the one side outside of the top six still in with a chance of making the play-offs.

Nothing but a win will do for the visitors whilst even three points will not be enough if Norwich City and West Bromwich Albion avoid defeat. The play-off battle could come down to goal difference so we’re expecting to see Hull City come flying out of the blocks. Plymouth Argyle have lost two straight matches whilst Hull City are unbeaten in their last six matches.

Rotherham United v Cardiff City

Cardiff City to win - Evens

Rotherham United’s miserable season will finally draw to a close on Saturday at home to Cardiff City. The Millers’ relegation was confirmed a long time ago and they limp into the season finale on the back of five winless matches without scoring a single goal.

Cardiff City have a relatively good away record in the league this season and are set to finish in the top half of the Championship for the first time since 2020/21. The possibility of finishing ahead of both Swansea City and Bristol City will give The Bluebirds extra motivation in what could yet turn out to be Erol Bulut’s last game in charge.

Sunderland v Sheffield Wednesday

Sheffield Wednesday to win - 6/4

Sheffield Wednesday’s great escape is almost complete as the Owls climbed out of the relegation last weekend by winning their second successive game. Sheffield Wednesday are now unbeaten in five matches and just a single point makes certain of their Championship status for another season at least.

Sunderland’s season has petered out with just one win in their last six league games. The Black Cats have failed to score in their past two matches whilst they have scored just one goal in five. We’re not expecting a thriller at the Stadium of Light but Sheffield Wednesday could sign off with another win.

West Bromwich Albion v Preston North End

West Bromwich Albion to win - 4/11

West Bromwich Albion are another top six side struggling for form at the moment and after three straight losses they’re at risk of missing out on a play-off place. One point all but guarantees West Brom’s place in the top six and on Saturday they host a mid-table Preston North End side that heads to the Hawthorns on the back of four straight losses with scoring a single goal. The Baggies should book a play-off spot this weekend.

EFL Acca Odds - 18.52/1
