Iga Swiatek and Jasmine Paolini will contest Saturday’s French Open women’s singles final at Roland Garros after safely getting through their semi-finals against Coco Gauff and Mirra Andreeva respectively. Here at betting.bet we’ll preview Saturday’s final, providing the best odds and free bet offers from our partners at BoyleSports.

Road To The Final

Iga Swiatek’s charge towards yet another French Open title has been relentless with the world number one dropping just one set throughout the entire tournament. Swiatek is eyeing a third straight French Open title and fourth in five years and in the last two rounds she has swept aside two reigning Grand Slam champions with ease. Last year’s Wimbledon champion Marketa Vondrousova was no match for the world number one, losing 6-0 6-2 in their quarter-final before reigning US Open champion Coco Gauff lost 6-2 6-4 to Swiatek.

Jasmine Paolini reached Saturday’s final by crushing the hopes of 17-year-old Mirra Andreeva in their semi-final match (6-3 6-1). Paolini’s most impressive win in the tournament so far came in the quarter-final where she shocked fourth seed Elena Rybakina. Before this year, Jasmine Paolini had never been beyond the second round at Roland Garros.

Head-to-Head Matches

Our French Open finalists have only met on two previous occasions and unsurprisingly Swiatek has won in each of them. Swiatek was just 17 years old when defeating Paolini on clay in the quarter-final of the Prague Open back in 2018 whilst she also charged to a straight sets win over Saturday’s opponent in the first round of the 2022 US Open.

Betting Tips

It’s hard to envisage anything but another French Open win for Iga Swiatek and the dominant Pole looks great value to win in straight sets at 2/9. With the exception of her gruelling second round win over four-time Grand Slam champion Naomi Osaka, Iga Swiatek has won every match she’s played at Roland Garros this year in 18 games or less. BoyleSports are offering 4/7 on Swiatek to wrap up the final in under 18.5 games.
