Safari Dream has no wins since winning three times as a two-year-old but has subsequently dropped considerably in the weights. Soundly beaten at Goodwood last time out but that was a much stronger race than this. Well drawn in stall 2 for the opener and a previous C&D winner. Agostino looks excellent value at 12/1 and is our second choice.

WAKING DREAM - 10/1
Race favourite Pouting looks a solid selection in the second leg but Waking Dream is a fascinating debutant for trainer Ralph Beckett. A 270,000gns purchase for King Power Racing and half-sister to dam of Sussex Stakes winner Mohaather. Always a risk tipping an unraced two-year-old but plenty to like about this race outsider.

PIPES AND DRUMS - 16/1
There’s an odds-on favourite in leg three and if Midair flops, this Placepot will be blown wide-open. Many leading players here are carrying penalties and we’re happy to give Pipes And Drums another chance. Beaten favourite on debut when green and outpaced but retains plenty of promise.

Hazem was very green on debut and despite failing to get properly involved this Godolphin three-year-old showed plenty of promise. Steps up to 1m2f on Monday and could certainly improve for that underwhelming debut.

Fitzdares Sprint Series Handicap (Windsor Sprint Series Qualifier)
ISLE OF LISMORE - 11/2
Isle Of Lismore was second in this race last year and has been in solid form since. Won at Ascot last month and followed up with a close second at Newmarket. Holds a plum draw in stall 1 and is our pick to go one better this year. Woolhampton is our second choice.

MAMDOH - 11/2
The final leg of this evening’s Placepot at Windsor is currently 4/1 the field and looks wide-open. City Of Delight and Penalty Shootout were both beaten favourites last time out and our preference from the leading pair is City Of Delight. However, we’re backing Mamdoh for trainer Owen Burrows. Mamdoh goes handicapping on Monday and he has shown plenty of promise in his first three races. Jockey Richard Kingscote was in excellent form at both Nottingham and Haydock last week.
