Diamondsinthesand was fifth behind today’s favourite Bama Lama last time out but certainly capable of bouncing back. Diamondsinthesand was only 1 ½ lengths off Bama Lama over C&D nine days ago and Bama Lama has since been nudged up another 3lbs. Softer ground may also favour Diamondsinthesand.

BEYOND BORDERS - 4/1
Queen’s Guard impressed at Lingfield two weeks ago but now has to contend with a 7lbs rise. This could open the door for Beyond Borders for in-form trainer Karl Burke. Beyond Borders was slowly away last time out at Newcastle and should be given another chance off a mark just 1lb higher than when winning agt Newcastle in the autumn. Oisin Murphy is booked to ride.
