Day 2 of Royal Ascot was filled with thrilling races, standout performances, and unexpected victories. While there wasn't a dazzling display from Auguste Rodin in the Prince of Wales’s Stakes, his performance was more than enough to secure a sixth top-level win, showcasing his dominance early in the race.
Ryan Moore had another remarkable day, clinching his 80th Royal Ascot win. He expertly guided Illinois to victory in the Queen’s Vase, taking control of the race from the start. In the Queen Mary Stakes, Leovanni stood out, delivering a stellar performance and adding another high-profile win for her owners.
Oisin Murphy's tactical brilliance paid off with a double win. He adjusted strategies on Running Lion in the Duke of Cambridge Stakes and celebrated another victory with Wild Tiger in the Royal Hunt Cup. Jamie Spencer, known for his prowess on the straight course, waited until the final race of Royal Ascot Day 2 to claim his victory with Ain’t Nobody, aptly named for the occasion.
