ODD SOCKS HAVANA - 15/4

Our first tip of the day comes in the very first race of the afternoon. Odd Socks Havana may prove to be more successful on the AW but he does boast a solid record on turf. Heads to Thirsk in good form having finished second last time out despite hitting plenty of traffic at Wolverhampton. The six-year-old could lay down a marker for a solid summer back on turf for trainer Rebecca Menzies.

Ivasecret and Island Of Skye have also performed well on the AW in recent runs and the latter will enjoy a first run for new trainer Mark Walford on Monday. Masterpainter is the only C&D winner in the race but that win was almost two years ago.

3:45 - Chepstow

EM JAY KAY - 7/2

Sub-par run at Nottingham last time out has to be left behind but Em Jay Kay could bounce back at Chepstow on Monday. Three successive second-placed finishes before struggling at Nottingham in a first-time tongue-tie. Tongue-tie removed for today’s run and he could bounce back in a race lacking any real quality.

Vape is a previous C&D winner and produced a solid second-place finish over track and trip on his return from a break two weeks ago however race winner Bama Lama has since floppped when a beaten-favourite back here at Chepstow.

5:35 - Windsor

MILLIETHEMOLLIE - 10/3

Bama Lama was the race winner on Vape’s reappearance at Chepstow two weeks ago and after last week’s disappointment at the course, he now switches to Windsor. He is a well-supported favourite on Monday evening but preference is for Milliethemollie. Won a nursery at Dundalk in December and headgear used for that run is reapplied on Monday. Both trainer and jockey arrive at Windsor in excellent form.

Treble Maker Odds - 80/1

  • Odd Socks Havana (15/4)
  • Em Jay Kay (7/2)
  • Milliethemollie (10/3)
