Wimbledon: Women’s Singles Quarter-Finals - Fixtures & Betting Tips

Here at betting.bet we’ll preview all four quarter-final ties whilst providing the latest match odds and updated outright odds
The women’s singles event at Wimbledon reaches the quarter-final stage on Tuesday and the tournament has been blown wide-open by a number of the tournament favourites suffering shock week one eliminations at SW19. Only two of the top ten seeds and none of the top three make it through to the last eight and here at betting.bet we’ll preview all four quarter-final ties whilst providing the latest match odds and updated outright odds from our betting partners at Unibet.
Lulu Sun v Donna Vekic
Lulu Sun became the first qualifier in 14 years to reach the quarter-final as she shocked home favourite Emma Raducanu in round four. Ranked 123rd in the world, Sun had never been beyond the first round in a Grand Slam tournament but defeated Raducanu in three sets despite racking up 44 unforced errors.
Lulu Sun’s quarter-final opponent, Donna Vekic has been rather fortunate with a kind draw so far. The highest ranked player Vekic has encountered across the first four rounds is world number 33 Dayana Yastremska. The big-serving Vekic defeated former world number two Paula Badosa in round four.

Jasmine Paolini v Emma Navarro
The only quarter-final match featuring two top twenty seeds, losing French Open finalist Jasmine Paolini takes on Emma Navarro. Paolini won her first three matches in straight sets, most notably when defeating 2019 US Open champion Bianca Andreescu in round three. Paolini’s fourth round match against Madison Keys was finely poised at 5-5 in the deciding third set when Keys was forced to withdraw through injury.
World number 120 Emma Navarro earned the biggest win of her career to date in round four as she swept past second seed Coco Gauff in straight sets. 23-year-old Navarro has now enjoyed career best performances in all three Grand Slam events so far this year but her win over Gauff was the first match she’s played against a top twenty player.

Jelena Ostapenko v Barbora Krejcikova
Jelena Ostapenko eased through the first four rounds without dropping a single set. The 13th seed has not lost more than three games in any one set and in round four she overcame Iga Swiatek’s conqueror Yulia Putintseva.
Barbora Krejcikova has reached the quarter-final of the women’s singles event at Wimbledon for the first time ever after defeating American Danielle Collins in straight sets in round four. The doubles specialist has won seven women’s doubles Grand Slam titles, including two at Wimbledon.

Elena Rybakina v Elina Svitolina
Elena Rybakina is the highest ranked player left in the tournament and is now the bookies’ favourite to win a second Wimbledon title in three years. The 2022 Wimbledon champion will earn a longer than anticipated rest ahead of Wednesday’s quarter-final after her fourth round match against Anna Kalinskaya ended prematurely due to an injury to her opponent.
Elina Svitolina overcame a first round scare against Magda Linette before defeating Jule Niemeier and two-time finalist Ons Jabeur in rounds two and three. Fourth round opponent Xin Wang had previously beaten fifth seed Jessica Pegula and home favourite Harriet Dart.
