We have narrowed today’s 43 races down to a very exciting treble consisting of races at Bath, Uttoxeter and Ffos Las
There are six race meetings across the UK and Ireland on Wednesday with the action set to get underway at Thirsk at 1:52. The day’s only jumps meeting takes place at Uttoxeter whilst there are flat meetings at Bath, Killarney, Yarmouth and Ffos Las. Using odds from our betting partners at Coral, we have narrowed today’s 43 races down to a very exciting treble consisting of races at Bath, Uttoxeter and Ffos Las.

NAD ALSHIBA GREEN - 7/4
Nad Alshiba Green failed to see out the 6f trip on her last two runs but is well-supported back down to the minimum distance on Wednesday. Ran over 5f on her debut at Windsor and was far from disgraced in a strong looking maiden. Ticks a lot of boxes on her handicap debut for respected trainer Michael Appleby and the booking of jockey Oisin Murphy is a major plus.
Stat Goddess looks the main danger after impressing on her handicap debut last week. Arguably the best horse in the race but seems better suited to softer ground than she’ll be afforded on Wednesday.
4:40 - Uttoxeter
Burton Albion Family Raceday 28th July Handicap Chase
TRAPISTA - 7/2
Deerstalker went off 9/4F on his chase debut at Stratford in May but finished some 37l adrift of the race winner. Jockey claimed he jumped greenly last time out and he now steps back in trip with first-time cheekpieces applied. Deerstalker is the market leader on just his second chase outing for trainer Ben Pauling however he’ll have to improve on his last run to be anywhere near winning this.
Imac Wood enjoyed an excellent 2023 but has not been the same horse this year, suffering successive heavy losses at Hereford and Bangor-on-Dee. Remains above his last winning mark and best watched on Wednesday.
Trapista completed her hat-trick at Ludlow in May and remains off a very workable mark having been nudged up just 3lbs since. After successive wins by the narrowest of margins, her luck will run out sooner rather than later but she looks to have the beating of Wednesday’s rivals under the ride of Jonjo O’Neill Jr.
8:30 - Ffos Las

JOLTY JEM - 13/2
Inappropriate heads to Ffos Las as the red-hot favourite less than two weeks after going very close to claiming a first win at Nottingham. Up another 2lbs since while Kieran Shoemark rides instead of 5lbs claimer Kayla Fraser, he’ll certainly be in the mix on Wednesday but that hike in the weights could open the door to a rival at a bigger price.
Jolty Jem has been running in Class 5 contests and he could fare much better amongst lesser company as Ffos Las. Whilst he didn’t threaten the winner at Windsor last time out he was far from disgraced when 4¼ lengths adrift in fourth. Dropped another 2lbs on Wednesday and could turnover the well-backed favourite.
Treble Maker Odds - 92/1
- Nad Alshiba Green (7/4)
- Trapista (7/2)
- Jolty Jem (13/2)
