Jake Paul returns to the boxing ring on Saturday night as he takes on mixed martial artist Mike Perry in his eleventh professional fight. Like it or loathe him, Jake Paul has brought a whole new audience to boxing and as we look ahead to this weekend’s bout we’ll bring you all you need to know about the upcoming cruiserweight bout including fight insights, broadcasting details, betting tips and the latest boxing betting odds from our partners at DAZN Bet.

Meet The Fighters

Jake Paul steps back into the boxing ring for the first time since earning a second successive first round stoppage against Ryan Bourland in March. The ‘YouTuber’ has earned nine wins in his ten professional fights to date, including six wins by stoppage. Paul’s only defeat so far came via a split decision against Tommy Fury in Saudi Arabia last February.

Opponent Mike Perry has competed 15 times in the UFC and has also competed successfully in the Bare-Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC). As a professional boxer, Mike Perry has had one bout, losing via a fourth round stoppage against Kenneth McNeil more than nine years ago.

Mike Perry was the backup fighter for Jake Paul’s bouts against both Tommy Fury and Dillon Danis but whilst both of those fights went ahead, he was again ready to step in upon the postponement of Jake Paul’s scheduled fight against former world heavyweight champion, Mike Tyson. Jake Paul’s fight against Mike Tyson will now take place on November 15th at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Main Event Prediction

Jake Paul is the overwhelming favourite to win on Saturday and there is a feeling that he will completely outclass Mike Perry in Tampa. Paul to win by knockout seems inevitable at 4/5 whilst a third straight first round stoppage could be on the cards at superb odds of 12/1

Jake Paul echoed our belief that the fight will be over quickly, as he promised to stop Perry inside two rounds.

Paul commented, “Two rounds, max, I mean, two rounds max. Let's be honest, brother. He's just not a boxer. I've elevated to such a high level. People haven't even seen my ability over the last year because I've gotten first-round knockouts. There's no film, there's nothing people can study out there for him to prepare for what I'm going to bring to the table.

He added, “I'm just too sharp, too clean, I punch way too hard, power in both hands and he makes a lot of mistakes. There's nothing he can do. I respect him. He's very violent. It's not taking away from Mike Perry. He could beat a lot of people but he can't beat me.”
