Premier League Weekend Special - Betting Tips, Odds & Insights (21st - 22nd September)
Leicester City & Everton to draw, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur to win - 11/2
After a week of Champions League football, focus turns back to the Premier League on Saturday with all twenty English top-flight clubs in action over the weekend. The standout fixture is at the Etihad Stadium where Manchester City and Arsenal face off in a huge top of the table clash. Whilst you can read our in-depth preview of Manchester City v Arsenal, there are plenty of additional betting opportunities available in the other nine Premier League fixtures this weekend. Here we have narrowed those matches down to three excellent betting tips. As well as match insights and opinions, you can find the latest Premier League odds from our partners at Betfred.
Premier League Treble Odds - 11/2
- Leicester City & Everton to draw (23/10)
- Liverpool to win (2/7)
- Tottenham Hotspur to win (1/2)
Leicester City v Everton
Draw - 23/10
Both Leicester City and Everton are desperately seeking a first league win of the season but a draw may be the wise bet at the King Power Stadium on Saturday. Neither side seem capable of holding onto a lead whilst this is the Premier League fixture with the highest proportion of drawn matches (only including fixtures played at least 30 times).
Leicester City have already drawn two of their four league games this season and let slip a two-goal lead last weekend to draw 2-2 at Crystal Palace. Everton drew 1-1 at home to Southampton in the League Cup in midweek and have thrown away a two-goal lead to lose 3-2 in back-to-back Premier League games against AFC Bournemouth and Aston Villa.
Liverpool v AFC Bournemouth
Liverpool to win - 2/7
Liverpool suffered a shock defeat at home to Nottingham Forest last weekend and a second straight league win for Arne Slotโs side seems incomprehensible. Whilst backing the Reds at 2/7 is not going to change your life, they are a must for any accumulator bet this weekend.
Liverpool came from behind to defeat Milan 3-1 in the Champions League on Tuesday and can get their title challenge back on track at Anfield on Saturday. AFC Bournemouth have made a solid start to the season but they have never won at Anfield.
Tottenham Hotspur v Brentford
Tottenham Hotspur to win - 1/2
Spurs fans and players alike will still be hurting after last weekendโs North London derby defeat at home to Arsenal consigned them to their worst start to a Premier League season since 2015/16. However, they should prove too strong for Brentford in one of Saturdayโs six Premier League matches kicking off at 3pm.
Brentford face the prospect of losing their first three away league games of the season in more than two decades and have lost 12 of their last 16 league games away from home. The Bees head to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium without Yoane Wissa as their growing injury list shows no signs of letting up. Spurs are unbeaten in four league games against Brentford and weโre not expecting that to change at the weekend.
