Premier League Weekend Special - Betting Tips, Odds & Insights (28th - 30th September)
Premier League Weekend Special - Betting Tips, Odds & Insights (28th - 30th September)

There are ten more Premier League fixtures to look forward to this weekend with action getting underway at St James Park when Newcastle United host Manchester City in Saturday’s early kick-off before concluding with a live Monday Night Football fixture between south coast rivals AFC Bournemouth and Southampton at the Vitality Stadium. As we look ahead to another superb weekend of football betting in the English top flight, here at betting.bet we have put together a weekend treble that pays out at a hugely generous 5/1 with popular bookmakers Ladbrokes.

Premier League Treble Odds - 5/1

  • Chelsea to win (7/10)
  • Everton to win (17/10)
  • Liverpool to win (3/10)

Chelsea v Brighton & Hove Albion

Chelsea to win - 7/10

Brighton & Hove Albion have been one of the surprise packages in the league this season and remain unbeaten in seventh position after five matches. However, we’re expecting that unbeaten run to come to an abrupt end at Stamford Bridge on Saturday. Enzo Maresca’s Chelsea have won three straight games in all competitions by an aggregate 9-0 scoreline and are really starting to click.

Brighton & Hove Albion started the new season with back-to-back wins against Everton (3-0) and Manchester United (2-1) before earning a credible 1-1 draw against Arsenal at the Emirates. However they have since recorded a couple of underwhelming performances in draws against Ipswich Town (0-0) and Nottingham Forest (2-2).

Chelsea defeated Brighton & Hove Albion at Stamford Bridge twice last season, winning 1-0 in the League Cup third round before earning a 3-2 win in the Premier League last December. A third straight home win against the Seagulls is on the cards this weekend.

Everton v Crystal Palace

Everton to win - 17/10

Everton have played well without winning in recent weeks as their inability to hold onto a lead continues to see them struggle at the bottom end of the Premier League table. However, we’re tipping Sean Dyche’s Everton to pick up their first league win of the season on Saturday.

The Toffees have taken the lead in four straight matches in all competitions but have failed to win a single one. Crystal Palace have drawn three straight league games and have taken just one point from two away league games so far this season.

Everton have an excellent recent record against Crystal Palace and this weekend could finally see them get a win on the board. Everton are unbeaten in seven matches against Crystal Palace in all competitions whilst it is now more than ten years since Crystal Palace won at Goodison Park.

Wolverhampton Wanderers v Liverpool

Liverpool to win - 3/10

Liverpool’s shock defeat at home to Nottingham Forest two weeks ago seems to have served as a wakeup call for Arne Slot’s side with the Reds proceeding to win three straight games in three different competitions, scoring at least three times on each occasion. A come-from-behind win against AC Milan (3-1) in the San Siro is arguably Slot’s most impressive result since taking charge at Liverpool and the Reds have since earned convincing wins over AFC Bournemouth (3-0) and West Ham United (5-1) in the Premier League and League Cup respectively.

Saturday’s hosts Wolverhamtton Wanderers are currently rock-bottom of the Premier League with just one point from their opening five matches. Wolves are without a Premier League clean sheet since February and another heavy defeat for the side with the division’s worst defensive record could really heap the pressure on manager Gary O’Neil. Wolves probably deserved to get something from their derby defeat at Aston Villa last time out but we’re not expecting too much from them at Molineux on Saturday. An away win looks extremely likely and this fixture could potentially produce a bucket full of goals.
