The last time these sides met at the King Power Stadium, Leicester City ran out comfortable 4-0 winners thanks to goals from James Maddison (2), Harvey Barnes and Patson Daka. However Nottingham Forest have an excellent recent record against Leicester City and that is their only defeat in the last five matches between the sides. A Brennan Johnson brace handed Nottingham Forest a 2-0 win when the sides last met in January 2023. Overall, both Leicester City and Nottingham Forest have earned 41 wins apiece in this fixture with 27 draws.

Nottingham Forest have ended their last two away league games with ten men thanks to red cards for Morgan Gibbs-White and James Ward-Prowse against Brighton & Hove Albion and Chelsea respectively whilst Ryan Fraser was given his marching orders for Southampton in Leicester City’s most recent league game. The 6/5 on offer for away side Nottingham Forest to accrue the most booking points on Friday evening looks a solid bet.

Alternatively, Leicester City’s Wilfred Ndidi could be considered the most likely player on either side to receive a card on Friday.
