Wolverhampton Wanderers v Southampton
Wolverhampton Wanderers to win - 19/20
The league’s bottom two meet at Molineux in a real relegation six-pointer on Saturday and our tipsters are predicting a home win to kick off our weekend treble. Wolves were dealt a nightmare run of fixtures at the start of the season with each of their first nine league games against sides currently positioned inside the top twelve. Gary O’Neil’s side should’ve picked up all three points at home to Crystal Palace last time out and despite being held to a 2-2 draw we’re once again backing them to earn their first win of the season on Saturday. Opponents, Southampton earned their first win of the season last time out as they edged past Everton at St Mary’s however, The Saints have lost all five away league games so far this season and we’re not expecting that losing streak to end this weekend.
Liverpool v Aston Villa
Liverpool to win - 11/25
Liverpool’s record-breaking start to life under Arne Slot has shown no signs of slowing up in recent weeks and the The Reds head into the weekend full of confidence after easing to a 4-0 Champions League win over last season’s Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen. Opponents, Aston Villa head to Anfield enduring a mini slump having gone four games in all competitions without a win. Unai Emery’s side have won just one of their last five league games and have not beaten Liverpool home or away in more than four years. A home win looks likely on Saturday evening.
Chelsea v Arsenal
Chelsea to win - 37/20
The biggest match of the weekend arguably comes from Stamford Bridge where Chelsea host Arsenal in a hotly anticipated London derby. Neither side head into the weekend in great form but home advantage could prove the difference here. Chelsea have won just one of their last four Premier League games but did warm up for Sunday with a crushing 8-0 win over Armenian side FC Noah in the Europa Conference League. Arsenal have slipped to fifth in the Premier League with just one point earned in three matches and are now winless in three away league games. The Gunners lost 1-0 at Inter Milan in the Champions League in midweek and look to be feeling the effects of injuries sustained by key members of their squad.
