Tottenham Hotspur host Ipswich Town in the Premier League on Sunday in a game of huge importance at both ends of the Premier League table. As we look forward to the first top flight fixture between the sides since 2002, here at betting.bet you can find exclusive football betting tips, enhanced match insights and the latest team news as well as the best pre-match odds from our partners at Coral.

Form

Tottenham Hotspur sit seventh in the Premier League table with 16 points from their first ten league games. Spurs’ emphatic 4-1 win over Aston Villa gave Ange Postecoglu’s side a sixth straight home win in all competitions. Twelve of Spurs’ 16 points in the Premier League this season have been won at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Ipswich Town are one of only two teams yet to win in the Premier League this season. The Tractor Boys languish in 18th with just five points from their five matches so far. Ipswich Town drew 1-1 at Leicester City last time out but have lost back-to-back away league games, conceding four goals in each.

Betting Tips

Spurs are the league’s highest goal scorers this season with 22 goals in ten matches including an incredible 15 goals in five league games at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. This is the focus of many of our betting tips this weekend. Over 2.5 match goals looks a certainty at 3/10 whilst you may want to consider pushing this out to over 3.5 match goals at odds of 3/4. Ipswich Town have scored at least one goal in five of their last six games in all competitions which makes both teams to score an appealing choice at 8/13.

Spurs’ slow starters have fallen behind in each of their last three league games whilst Ipswich Town have scored first in their last two matches without winning either. Spurs are 11/2 to come from behind to win.

If Ipswich Town are to score the opening goal of the game then Liam Delap could prove well overpriced at 10/1 to score first. Delap has scored four times in Ipswich Town’s last five league games, including back-to-back away fixtures. Dominic Solanke is the obvious danger for Spurs having scored three goals in his side’s last two matches. The England international is priced at 8/11 to score at any time whilst the 15/4 on offer for Solanke to score two or more is worth real consideration.
