Why BetGoodwin Has One of the Best Racing Promotion Lineups

BetGoodwin has built one of the strongest racing promotion lineups available to regular punters. The appeal is not one headline offer. It is the combination of better price settlement, first past the post protection and several refunds for the kind of narrow defeat that can turn a good bet into a frustrating one.

Anyone comparing places to bet on horse racing should look beyond a joining offer. BetGoodwin gives existing customers five published racing promotions that can matter throughout the season.

Best Odds Guaranteed on UK and Irish racing

BetGoodwin offers Best Odds Guaranteed on all UK and Irish horse and greyhound racing. If the starting price is bigger than the price taken, the return is settled at the starting price.

This is a valuable foundation for regular racing bettors because it removes some of the risk of taking an early price. The benefit is capped at £1,000 per bet, and at £1,000 in total where bets include identical selections. Ante post bets, special markets and international racing do not qualify. Rule 4 deductions still apply.

Our full Best Odds Guaranteed guide explains how this protection works and which bets qualify.

Paid on first past the post

BetGoodwin also settles the race winner market on both first past the post and the official result. If your horse crosses the line first and is later demoted, the original winner can still be paid.

The promotion covers UK and Irish horse racing, including win singles, multiples and the win part of each way bets. The maximum benefit is £5,000 per customer per calendar day. It does not apply when a horse fails to weigh in, takes the wrong course, or when the result is corrected before the weigh in. Void races are also excluded.

A free bet when your horse is beaten by a nose

Few results are harder to take than losing by the smallest official margin. BetGoodwin refunds the win part of a losing stake as a free bet when an eligible horse finishes second by a nose in a UK or Irish race.

The offer is for cash win or each way singles with a minimum stake of £10 win or £10 each way. Multiples and ante post bets are excluded. The maximum free bet is £100 per customer per race. It is credited within 24 hours, must be used in full, expires 24 hours after receipt and does not return the free bet stake with any winnings.

Second to a winner at 50/1 or bigger

There is another refund for National Hunt chases. If your selection finishes second to a winner priced at 50/1 or bigger, BetGoodwin refunds the win part of the losing stake as a free bet when the official distance is a nose, short head, head or neck.

This promotion applies to cash win or each way singles on UK and Irish National Hunt chases. The minimum stake is £10 win or £10 each way, while multiples and ante post bets do not qualify. The maximum free bet is £100 per customer per race. Free bets are credited within 24 hours, must be used in full and do not return the free bet stake.

Fell at the last when leading

BetGoodwin also covers one of jump racing's most painful outcomes. If your horse falls at the final fence or hurdle while leading a UK or Irish race, the bookmaker refunds the win part of the losing stake as a free bet.

Eligible bets are cash win or each way singles with a minimum stake of £10 win or £10 each way. Multiples and ante post bets are excluded. The maximum refund is a £100 free bet per customer per qualifying race. It is credited within 24 hours, must be used in full and does not return the free bet stake.

Why the complete package stands out

Best Odds Guaranteed is useful on an ordinary day. First past the post protects against a stewards' reversal. The nose, big priced winner and last obstacle refunds then cover three very specific ways a racing bet can go wrong.

That breadth is why BetGoodwin deserves attention from racing punters. These are ongoing member promotions rather than a single short campaign, although every offer has its own qualifying conditions and BetGoodwin can restrict eligibility.
