LiveScore Bet SQUADS Is Back, Build Your Team and Get Paid for Goals
LiveScore Bet SQUADS returns for 2026/27 with five player reveals, cash for qualifying goals and a new optional Player Transfer feature.
26 SEPTEMBER 2026

There is something particularly satisfying about watching a footballer score when there is cash riding on it. LiveScore Bet has taken that feeling and turned it into a free to play promotion with SQUADS, where five randomly revealed players can earn you a cash reward every time they find the net.
The concept is refreshingly simple. There is no entry fee, you gradually reveal your squad across the round, discover how much each goal is worth and then sit back and hope your collection of players has remembered where the goal is.
For the 2026/27 season, there is also a new Player Transfer feature, giving qualifying players one opportunity to replace a member of their squad with a randomly selected forward.
How LiveScore Bet SQUADS Works
SQUADS is available to eligible registered LiveScore Bet customers in Great Britain and Northern Ireland who opt into the promotion.
Each round gives you the opportunity to reveal up to five Player Cards, normally one on each of the five days leading up to the first match in the round. Every card contains a footballer and the specific match in which that player can earn you a reward.
Miss a daily reveal? It isn't a disaster. That particular Player Card expires, but the players you have already collected remain in your squad.
Once you have completed your available reveals, there is another little moment of suspense. A SQUADS scratchcard reveals your Goal Bonus, determining how much cash you can collect when your players score.
Then your work is largely done. It's over to your squad.
Score a Goal, Win Cash
The clever part of SQUADS is that you aren't trying to predict which player will score.
LiveScore Bet has already handed you the players. You simply need them to deliver.
If one of your revealed players scores during the 90 minutes of the specified match on their Player Card, you receive the applicable Goal Bonus. If that player scores twice, you can earn the Goal Bonus twice. A hat trick could therefore turn one particularly inspired player reveal into a very profitable afternoon.
The promotion can offer up to £50 cash for every qualifying goal, with the exact Goal Bonus determined through the SQUADS mechanic.
Rewards are paid as withdrawable cash, rather than being locked away as a free bet. LiveScore Bet says it aims to credit Goal Bonuses within three hours of the relevant match finishing, although customers should allow up to 48 hours.
A multiplier can also be applied to the Goal Bonus in some rounds, with any multiplier shown when the SQUADS scratchcard is revealed.
The New SQUADS Transfer Window
This is where SQUADS has become considerably more interesting for 2026/27.
Previously, your revealed squad was essentially your lot. This season introduces Player Transfers, providing a way of potentially improving your hand before the football begins.
It isn't an entirely free transfer, though. To become eligible, you need to place a single bet of at least £5 on a player market at minimum odds of 1/1 (evens). The qualifying bet must be placed after revealing your first Player Card and before the round deadline. Price Boost bets don't qualify.
Meet those requirements and the Transfer Window opens three hours before the scheduled round deadline.
You can then choose one of your revealed players and ask LiveScore Bet for a replacement. The replacement will be a randomly selected forward, which makes the decision rather more entertaining than simply choosing whichever striker you fancy.
You are shown the replacement before making the final decision, so there is an element of strategy involved. Keep your original player or gamble on the new forward?
Choose wisely, you only get one successful transfer per round.
You Don't Have to Accept the Transfer
One particularly nice touch is that starting the transfer process doesn't commit you to the new player.
After choosing the footballer you want to transfer out, SQUADS reveals the randomly selected forward being offered in exchange. You can then either confirm the move or reject it and stick with your original player.
Don't expect to keep refreshing until Erling Haaland appears, though. If you reject the proposed replacement and try again, the same player will be offered.
Once a transfer has been confirmed, it is final for that round. Only goals scored by the incoming player count towards the Goal Bonus; the footballer transferred out can no longer earn you anything.
It effectively gives SQUADS its own miniature deadline day drama, albeit without somebody leaning out of a car window outside the training ground.
What Happens If One of Your Players Doesn't Play?
There are a few important limitations.
Your Goal Bonus only applies to the specific player and specific match displayed on the Player Card. If that footballer doesn't participate in the round, there is no Goal Bonus.
Own goals don't count, while a goal that is subsequently disallowed won't qualify either. You also won't receive the reward where the specified game is cancelled, postponed or rescheduled from its original kickoff time.
SQUADS therefore isn't simply about collecting five famous names. The fixtures attached to those players matter just as much.
What If You Forget to Reveal a Player?
You don't need a perfect five player squad to remain involved.
If you miss the published reveal window, that particular card expires, but it doesn't invalidate the rest of your squad. Your successfully revealed players can still earn Goal Bonuses.
The final reveal also determines the reward amount through the scratchcard. If you miss that final player, LiveScore Bet says the reward amount will instead become visible in the SQUADS section at the start of the first match in the round.
Depending on the particular round, some customers may also have the opportunity to reveal multiple Player Cards on the same day.
Why We Like LiveScore Bet SQUADS
SQUADS is a good example of a bookmaker promotion that doesn't feel like another variation of "bet £10, get £10".
At its heart, it's free to play. There is something to come back for each day as your squad gradually takes shape, while the scratchcard adds another reveal before the matches even begin. Once the football starts, you suddenly have a reason to care about a striker playing in a match you might otherwise have completely ignored. Our football betting hub has the latest fixtures, tips and match coverage.
The addition of transfers makes it better. There is now an actual decision to make rather than simply accepting whichever five players the game hands you. The qualifying £5 player bet means the transfer itself isn't completely free, but importantly, you don't have to make a transfer to participate in SQUADS itself.
And the prize being withdrawable cash is a major positive. You can compare other promotions on our free bets page. If your player scores, you aren't being handed another token that needs to be turned over through another bet, subject to the promotion rules, the Goal Bonus is cash.
SQUADS in 30 Seconds
The basic routine couldn't be much easier:
- Opt into LiveScore Bet SQUADS and start playing.
- Return during the round to reveal your available Player Cards.
- Build a squad of up to five footballers.
- Reveal your Goal Bonus through the SQUADS scratchcard.
- Optionally qualify for the new Player Transfer and decide whether to swap one player for a randomly selected forward.
- Watch the specified matches and receive the Goal Bonus for every qualifying goal your players score.
There are obviously detailed promotion rules behind it, but the game itself doesn't feel complicated. Our betting sites guide explains how we assess operators and their offers.
Final Verdict: Five Players, Plenty to Cheer
SQUADS manages to make a free promotion feel like an actual football game rather than a box that needs ticking before placing a bet.
The gradual player reveals give you a reason to return, the Goal Bonus scratchcard provides the jeopardy, and then five otherwise unrelated matches can suddenly become very interesting indeed. The new transfer mechanic adds another layer because there is finally a little managerial decision making involved too.
Most importantly, you don't need all five players to turn into prime Ronaldo. Every qualifying goal can generate its own cash reward, so one inspired reveal can be enough to make the round worthwhile.
Your managerial career awaits. Unfortunately, LiveScore Bet chooses most of the squad for you, which, judging by some Premier League transfer windows, might not be the worst idea.
