Premier League Odds Analysis: Who Offers The Best Match Result Prices?

One match, three outcomes, 75 bookmakers, and rarely the same price twice. Over four Premier League matchweeks we are recording the home, draw and away odds on all forty fixtures to find out who genuinely gives punters value and who quietly shaves every price.

No boosted odds, no special offers. Just the standard match result market, ranked on the margin each bookmaker builds into its prices.

Collection Status

The first matchweek is recorded. Prices for ten fixtures were captured from bookmaker screens on 21 and 22 October 2026, covering 67 of the 75 bookmakers on the list. Prices are still being collected for the remaining names, and blank cells stay blank until a genuine price is captured. Nothing is invented to fill a gap.

Matchweeks two, three and four are still to be collected. A collection update is not a completed result, and no bookmaker has won the test at this stage.

The prices were reconstructed from transcribed screenshot records. The full set has not been independently rechecked against every original image, and any correction found later will be marked as a correction rather than quietly edited. Sister brands running on the same platform often carry identical prices; where a brand's prices were supplied from a sister brand's screenshot rather than its own, that is recorded in our source log and the shared prices are treated as one set, not independent confirmations.

Forty Matches, Three Outcomes Each

The match result comparison includes all three possible outcomes for each fixture: home win, draw and away win. Across forty matches, that creates 120 selections per bookmaker. Complete coverage means 120 standard market prices, not forty bets in total.

Standard Prices Only

Price boosts do not count. We compare the ordinary market prices available for the same selection, rather than a temporary enhanced offer.

The comparison follows our existing UK bookmaker eligibility rules. A missing price remains unverified, not a zero return or an assumed quote. If a bookmaker does not offer one of the three outcomes, that gap is shown rather than filled.

When We Record The Odds

Prices are captured from the same comparison window for every fixture so that one operator is not measured before a market move and another afterwards.

Every recorded selection retains its fixture, market, bookmaker, fractional odds, actual capture time and price source. If the first available quote is collected later, it is labelled with its actual capture time. We do not describe it as an earlier price or reconstruct a missing quote.

What A £10 Return Measures

Each selection is compared using the potential total return from a £10 stake. At 2/1, a winning £10 bet returns £30: £20 in winnings plus the original £10 stake. At 5/2, the same stake returns £35. The second price offers £5 more for exactly the same result.

This is a comparison of potential payouts, not actual betting profit. The three match result selections are mutually exclusive: the home win, draw and away win cannot all land in the same fixture. Their combined potential returns are a price comparison measure, not money that one set of match results could pay out.

What Bookmaker Margin Means

Every bookmaker builds a margin into its prices. If you convert the home, draw and away prices for one match into implied probabilities and add them together, the total is always more than 100%. The amount above 100% is the bookmaker's margin, sometimes called the overround.

A lower margin means the prices are closer to the true chances and more of the money staked is returned to winning bettors. A higher margin means worse value across the board, even when an individual price looks competitive. We calculate the margin for every fixture at every bookmaker and average it across the matchweek.

First Matchweek: Bookmaker Margin League Table

This is the ranking we rely on. It is the average margin built into each bookmaker's match result prices across the ten fixtures, calculated from the home, draw and away prices on every fixture. Lower is better for the bettor. Bookmakers with identical average margins share a rank.

Unibet and 32Red ran the tightest books of the matchweek at 4.86%, with bet365 and Sportingbet the only others under 6%. The same names sit at the bottom of both tables: Kwiff, LiveScore Bet, Virgin Bet and Tote each operated with a margin above 13%, getting on for three times the leaders'. That is why their price scores fall so far behind despite occasionally competitive single prices.

First Matchweek: Overall Price Score

The cross check. For each fixture we add together the potential £10 returns on the home win, the draw and the away win, then total those across all ten fixtures. Only one of the three outcomes can land in a real match, so this figure is not money a bettor could collect. It is a score that shows how high each bookmaker's prices sit across the whole sample. Higher means better prices. Equal scores share the same rank.

247Bet, LuckyMate, Quickbet and Dream Vegas Sport share the top price score at £991.64, £1.61 ahead of bet365 across thirty selections. At the other end, Kwiff, Tote, LiveScore Bet and Virgin Bet each sit more than £75 behind the leaders on the same selections, a gap far larger than anything at the top.

What The First Matchweek Shows

Sister brands on the same platform frequently price identically. LuckyMate, Quickbet and Dream Vegas Sport matched 247Bet on every selection. The nine Playbook Gaming brands matched each other on all thirty, as did the six Swifty International brands, the nine ProgressPlay brands, the BetVictor group of four and the BetGoodwin group of five. Where brands match exactly, they share the same rank, and their prices count as one set rather than independent confirmations.

The margin table is the ranking we rely on, because it measures the whole book on every fixture rather than only the prices bettors happened to back. The price score is the cross check, and it rewards the bookmaker that is most often top price on the outcomes people actually bet. The same names occupy the top of both: 247Bet and its price sharing sisters, bet365, Unibet and 32Red are the clear early pace setters, and the gap between them is small enough that one matchweek cannot separate them.

This is one matchweek of four. Prices move, and a bookmaker that led this weekend can be midfield next weekend. No final ranking is declared until all forty fixtures are recorded.

The Remaining Matchweek Updates

Second Matchweek

Awaiting ten confirmed fixtures and standard price snapshots.

Third Matchweek

Awaiting ten confirmed fixtures and standard price snapshots.

Fourth Matchweek

Awaiting ten confirmed fixtures and standard price snapshots.

Each update shows the verified selections, bookmaker prices, margins, price scores, capture times and source references. Missing evidence remains visible until it is supplied, rather than disappearing inside a headline total.

What The Findings Can Tell Bettors

A bettor backing the same outcome at a better price receives a larger return if it wins. This analysis is intended to show which bookmakers consistently offer that advantage across the selections we record.

It will not identify a bookmaker that can make a losing selection win, guarantee a profit or establish the best price for every future match. Prices move, and the sample is limited to forty fixtures. Those limits belong alongside the league table when the findings are published.
