Proper Bet's Proper Rewards scheme pays you a 50p free bet for every £10 you stake on sports accumulators, with up to £50 in free bets each week. It isn't a sign up offer. It's an ongoing loyalty reward that runs every Monday to Sunday, so existing customers can earn from it week after week.
Proper Bet is a newer UK bookmaker, licensed by the Gambling Commission (account 100990) and based in York. How to claim Proper Rewards
- Open a Proper Bet account. Sign up via our link and verify your details. You must be 18+ and a UK resident.
- Deposit using an eligible method. Check the cashier for available payment options.
- Place sport accumulators. Each acca needs at least three selections at odds of 1/2 or bigger. Any sport except horse racing counts.
- Stake at least £10 in cash across the week. The week runs Monday 00:00 to Sunday 23:59. Every £10 of qualifying stake earns 50p.
- Collect your free bet. It lands in your account by 6pm the following Monday.
- Use it on a single or each way bet. The free bet stake isn't included in any returns.
Key terms explained
The terms are fairly simple, but a few exclusions can cost you rewards if you miss them.
- Accas only, three legs minimum. Singles and doubles don't count. Each acca needs three or more selections.
- No horse racing. Any acca with a horse racing leg is excluded, even if the other legs are football. Greyhounds aren't named as an exclusion.
- Minimum odds of 1/2. The terms say this applies to the selection odds or the cumulative odds. Check the full T&Cs for the exact rule, along with any market exclusions.
- Watch the excluded bet types. Cashed out bets don't qualify. Neither do Asian handicaps, Draw No Bet, or bets with a void leg or a "void element" market.
- Cash stakes only. Rewards are earned on cash staked, not on bets placed with free bets.
- £50 cap. The most you can receive as a free bet is £50.
- How the free bet works. It's non withdrawable and the stake isn't returned. It can go on any single or each way market, and can't be combined with another promotion.
- One per customer. It's limited by household, email, IP address and phone number. Customers with a bonus restriction, or who self exclude, aren't eligible.
What you could earn
Proper Rewards gives back 5% of your qualifying acca stakes as free bets. Hitting the £50 cap takes £1,000 of qualifying stakes in one week.

For example, say you place a £5 fourfold on Sunday's football each weekend and two £10 trebles midweek. That's £25 a week, comfortably above the £10 minimum, earning around £1 in free bets. The T&Cs don't say how part amounts are rounded, so assume each full £10 counts.
Because free bet stakes aren't returned, a free bet is worth less than its face value in cash. Treat Proper Rewards as a small bonus on betting you'd do anyway, not a reason to bet more.

Our verdict
Proper Rewards is a solid, no fuss loyalty scheme for anyone who already bets football or multi sport accas. The 1/2 minimum odds and £10 weekly threshold make it easy to qualify. The free bets build up without any opt in hoops in the published terms. Racing punters and fans of cash out will get less from it. For acca regulars, it's a useful reason to place your weekend multiples with Proper Bet.

Is Proper Rewards only for new customers? No. It runs every week, Monday to Sunday, so existing customers can keep earning.
Do I need a promo code? The published terms don't mention a code or opt in. Check the promotions page when you join, in case that changes.
Do greyhound accas count? The terms only exclude horse racing by name, so greyhound accas should qualify if they meet the minimum odds. Market exclusions still apply.
When do I get my free bet? By 6pm on the Monday after the qualifying week ends.
What's the most I can earn? The maximum free bet is £50, which takes £1,000 of qualifying acca stakes.
Can I withdraw the free bet? No. Free bet credits are non withdrawable and the stake isn't included in returns. Winnings from them are paid as normal.
