How to claim Football Rewards
- Open a Star Sports account. Sign up via our link if you’re new. You must be 18+. Existing customers can take part straight away.
- Place five or more football multiples. Use straight accumulators: trebles, fourfolds, fivefolds, all the way up to 25 folds. Every leg must be on football.
- Stake £20 or more on each one. Each multiple needs combined odds of 3/1 or bigger.
- Make every bet different. Duplicate bets don’t count, so vary your selections.
- Let them settle within the week. All five must settle between Monday 00:00 and Sunday 23:59.
- Use your £20 free bet within seven days. It’s credited as soon as your fifth eligible bet settles.
Key terms explained
Most of the rules are simple, but three catch people out: settlement timing, unique bets and the bet types that are excluded.
- Settlement, not placement, counts. Bets must settle between Monday and Sunday. An acca placed on Sunday that includes a Monday night game won’t settle in time for that week.
- £20 minimum per bet. Five £10 accas won’t qualify. Each bet needs at least £20, though larger stakes are fine.
- 3/1 minimum odds per multiple. This applies to each acca’s combined odds, which is easy to reach with three or four selections.
- Football only, every leg. Any league, cup or tournament counts, but a single tennis or racing leg disqualifies the bet.
- Straight accas only. Trebles up to 25 folds qualify. Perms like Trixies, Yankees, Patents and Lucky 15s don’t count. Neither do Build a Bets, Football Specials or Football Star Boosts.
- Five unique bets. Duplicate bets don’t count towards your five.
- Real cash, no cash out. Bets placed with free bets or bonus funds don’t count. Cashing out a bet removes it from qualifying.
- One free bet per week. Placing ten bets still earns only one £20 free bet.
- 7 day expiry. Use the free bet within seven days of receiving it or it’s lost.
- No stacking. The offer can’t be combined with any other Star Sports promotion.
What it’s worth
At the minimum £100 qualifying spend, the £20 free bet equals 20% of your stakes back in free bets. That’s a generous rate for a loyalty offer. It drops as you stake more, because the reward is capped at one £20 free bet per week.

Say you play a £20 Saturday acca and a £20 Sunday acca on Premier League and Championship games, each priced at 3/1 or more. Add three £20 midweek accas on the Champions League and Europa League, and you’ve hit five. Once the fifth settles, the £20 free bet arrives.
The £100 has to be stakes you’re comfortable losing. The free bet is a bonus on betting you’d do anyway, not a reason to bet more.

Our verdict
Star Sports Football Rewards is one of the more generous weekly football offers around for punters already staking £20 a bet. A £20 free bet on a £100 spend is strong value, and 3/1 is a realistic minimum for a treble or fourfold. It’s less suited to smaller stakes bettors, perm fans or anyone who leans on cash out.
