Jodie Standings Point-To-Point Recruits Handicap Steeple Chase (Go North One Man Series Qualifier) (GBB Race)

Jet of Dreams 9/4
Richard Upton(10)/Warren Greatrex
Live price from 10 Bet
JET OF DREAMS can confirm last week's course and distance form with Lady Kara and record another victory at a track where he consistently produces his best. Warren Greatrex's eight year old beat that rival by two and a half lengths on good ground eight days ago, registering his second successive victory in the same contest and taking his Sedgefield record to three wins from four visits. He carries a 7lbs penalty this time, but Richard Upton's 10lbs claim more than offsets that additional burden. Jet Of Dreams is also due to race from a 4lbs lower mark in future and with conditions again in his favour, he can complete a quick course and distance double.

Akaraka 13/8
Hector Crouch/Michael Bell
Live price from Hollywood Bets
AKARAKA took a significant step forward when switched to handicaps at Thirsk last month and looks ready for this longer trip. Michael Bell's gelding finished a clear second over a mile on that occasion, beaten just a length by Prince Kameo and was doing his best work late after being gelded since his qualifying runs. He has been raised only 2lbs for that effort and the move up to 1m2f looks a positive given how strongly he finished at Thirsk. There should be further improvement to come after just four starts and with conditions unlikely to inconvenience him, Akaraka can build on that promising nursery debut.

Mr Maximillian 28/1
Gavin Sheehan/Olly Murphy
Live price from Bet365
MR MAXIMILLIAN showed enough on his hurdling debut to suggest he could take a sizeable step forward on his return. Olly Murphy's five year old finished fourth in a 2m novice at Perth in April, having previously shown some promise in a Wetherby bumper and he remains open to considerably more improvement after just two starts under rules. He has undergone wind surgery during his 166 day absence and now wears a tongue tie for the first time, while the booking of Gavin Sheehan is another positive. Sheezer Dancer and Taranis Dubh set useful standards, but Mr Maximillian has the potential to improve past several of these and could make his presence felt.
