About Blazing Coins Deluxe: Hold & Win

Blazing Coins Deluxe: Hold & Win is a 2026 release from Popiplay that takes the classic three reel fruit machine and builds almost the entire game around one fiery square in the middle. Released on 27 May 2026, it uses a compact 3x3 grid with five paylines, has low to medium volatility, a 96.08% RTP and maximum win potential of 2,000x the stake.

The reels themselves are deliberately old school, with fruit, BARs, Sevens and plenty of flames creating the sort of setup that could have come straight from a traditional slot cabinet. The difference is the Hot Spot occupying the central position. Get an eligible Coin into that square and the ordinary fruit symbols disappear as the game moves into its Hold & Win feature.

That's where Blazing Coins Deluxe becomes considerably more interesting. Regular Coins carry cash values, Jackpot Coins can reveal fixed prizes, Mystery Diamonds transform at the end of the feature and Collector Coins gather values already sitting on the board. The Turbo Collector is the one you really want because it stays locked for the entire bonus and repeatedly collects new Coin values as they arrive.

Completely fill all nine positions and the game awards the Grand Jackpot, multiplying the entire accumulated feature win by 5x. That gives the little 3x3 board a very obvious ultimate target, although the overall 2,000x maximum means Blazing Coins Deluxe is more about building a respectable collection than chasing one enormous result.

Popiplay hasn't tried to reinvent the fruit machine here. It has simply set fire to one and filled it with Coins, which is considerably more entertaining than it sounds.

Features

Hot Spot (Bonus Trigger)

The Hot Spot occupies the exact centre of the 3x3 grid and provides the route into the main feature. A Regular Coin, Jackpot Coin, Mystery Diamond or Turbo Collector landing there immediately triggers Coin Respins.

I like this because it gives such a small grid a very clear focal point. Once an eligible Coin begins moving towards the middle, you know exactly what's at stake without having to count Scatters or check a collection meter.

It also creates a slightly different sort of anticipation from the usual six Coin Hold and Win trigger. You don't need the whole screen to cooperate. You need one useful symbol to find one very specific square. On a nine position grid, the middle suddenly feels like prime real estate.

Coin Respins (Hold and Win)

Popiplay calls the main feature Coin Respins, which is its version of Hold and Win.

The triggering Coin remains locked and you begin with three Respins. Every additional Coin that lands becomes Sticky and resets the counter to three, with the feature ending after three unsuccessful Respins or when all nine positions have been occupied.

The small grid works surprisingly well here. Hold and Win features spread across 15 or 20 positions can sometimes feel as though they're barely getting started, whereas nine spaces means you can quickly see a realistic route towards filling the board.

That doesn't make the feature particularly deep, but it does make it satisfyingly direct. A few early Coins and suddenly the Grand doesn't look impossibly far away.

Regular Coins (Cash Symbols)

Regular Coins are the game's standard Cash Symbols, carrying individual multiplier values that are added to the final Coin Respin result.

They're the basic building blocks of the feature and become considerably more important when a Collector is present. A board containing several decent Regular Coins is useful on its own, but once those values start being collected during the feature, the same positions can contribute considerably more.

There's no complicated explanation required here. The value printed on the Coin is what you're interested in, and on a game this deliberately simple, that feels entirely appropriate.

Jackpot Coins (Fixed Jackpots)

Jackpot Coins can reveal the game's Mini, Minor or Major fixed jackpots during Coin Respins.

These immediately give the feature something more interesting to uncover than ordinary cash values, particularly because Collector mechanics can interact with the prizes already visible on the board.

I like having the jackpots incorporated directly into the Coin feature rather than disappearing into a separate wheel. Everything important remains on the same little 3x3 grid, which keeps the game focused on what it does best.

Mystery Diamonds (Mystery Symbols)

Mystery Diamonds remain unresolved during the Respins and reveal themselves when the feature finishes, transforming into either Jackpot Coins or Collector Coins.

This is one of the better touches because it leaves part of the feature undecided even after the Respins have ended. A board containing several Mystery Diamonds can therefore look considerably more promising than its visible Cash values suggest.

There's also a genuine difference between the possible outcomes. Revealing a jackpot gives you an immediate prize, while turning into a Collector can interact with the wider collection you've already built.

For once, finding a mysterious diamond is more interesting than simply being told it's worth 10x.

Collector Coins (Cash Collect)

Collector Coins appear only during Coin Respins and gather the values of the Regular and Jackpot Coins currently visible on the grid.

This gives the feature more life than simply adding together everything at the end. Once several worthwhile Coins have accumulated, another Collector can effectively make the existing board pay again.

The timing therefore matters. A Collector arriving when you've barely got anything locked isn't particularly exciting, whereas one landing after the grid has filled with stronger values can make a substantial difference.

Collectors like a busy board. Apparently they're paid on commission.

Turbo Collector (Persistent Cash Collector)

The Turbo Collector is the game's strongest Persistent Cash Collector and can also trigger Coin Respins when it lands in the Hot Spot.

Unlike an ordinary Collector, the Turbo version remains Sticky for the entire feature and collects newly revealed Coin values after every subsequent Respin.

This is easily my favourite mechanic in Blazing Coins Deluxe.

Getting a Collector once is useful. Having one permanently sitting on the grid while new Coins continue arriving changes the whole bonus because every successful Respin can now produce value twice: once through the new Coin itself and again through the Turbo Collector.

On such a small board, having one of the nine positions permanently occupied by something this useful feels particularly powerful.

Grand Jackpot (Full Grid Multiplier)

Completely filling all nine positions awards the Grand Jackpot, which applies an additional 5x multiplier to the accumulated feature win.

I prefer this to simply attaching another fixed number to the word Grand. The better the feature has been before you fill the board, the more valuable that 5x becomes.

It also makes those final empty positions genuinely tense. You're not merely trying to squeeze another Cash Coin onto the grid. You're trying to multiply everything you've already collected.

The board may only be 3x3, but that ninth Coin can have a very large job.

Chance Booster (Feature Chance Booster)

The Chance Booster increases the probability of triggering Coin Respins in exchange for a higher stake. One documented implementation doubles the total wager while significantly improving the feature frequency.

It's useful for players who want more exposure to the part of Blazing Coins Deluxe where most of the interesting mechanics live, although it doesn't fundamentally change how the feature itself plays.

Given how quiet the ordinary fruit reels can be, it's easy to understand why somebody might want to turn the heat up a little sooner.

Bonus Buy

Where permitted, Blazing Coins Deluxe offers direct access to Coin Respins through Bonus Buy options. Published game information lists a 40x standard feature purchase and an 80x version guaranteeing the Turbo Collector setup.

The distinction is useful because the premium option isn't simply charging more for the same feature. Guaranteeing the Turbo Collector materially changes the quality of the starting setup, although the actual Coin Respins rules remain unchanged.

Blazing Coins Deluxe understands the benefits of keeping things simple, but it occasionally takes that philosophy a little too seriously.

The 3x3 grid and five paylines make the game exceptionally easy to read, while the Hot Spot gives ordinary spins a clear target. I actually like the central trigger because seeing one eligible Coin approaching that square creates more immediate tension than slowly accumulating six identical Bonus Symbols.

Once Coin Respins begin, the compact board works in the game's favour. Nine positions means progress feels quick, and filling six or seven spaces creates a believable chance of completing the whole grid rather than leaving you staring at a sea of empty positions.

The problem is what happens between those moments. The traditional fruit game doesn't offer much beyond trying to hit the Hot Spot, so longer spells without the feature can become repetitive. Bigwinboard reached a similarly critical conclusion about the lack of base game depth.

The 96.08% RTP and low to medium volatility are both welcome, though, and make the modest 2,000x maximum feel more understandable.

It's quick, clean and accessible. I just wish there were another trick hiding among the fruit.

Coin Respins is considerably better than the base game surrounding it, largely because the different Coin types give such a small grid more variety than you'd expect.

Regular Coins provide the foundation, Jackpot Coins introduce fixed prizes and Mystery Diamonds leave something unresolved until the feature ends. Collector Coins then make an existing collection more useful rather than simply occupying another position.

The Turbo Collector is the standout for me. Keeping it locked throughout the feature and allowing it to repeatedly collect newly arriving values gives every subsequent Coin more significance.

The Grand is another good idea. Filling the grid and multiplying the complete feature result by 5x makes the final position genuinely important, particularly if Collectors and Jackpot Coins have already built a healthy total.

There's enough interaction here to make the bonus enjoyable, but almost all of the game's ideas are concentrated inside this one feature. That's why I wouldn't push the score into the 8s.

Blazing Coins Deluxe looks exactly like a game called Blazing Coins Deluxe probably should.

The reels are filled with classic fruit machine imagery, while flames, glowing Coins and bright gold effects provide the "Blazing" part of the equation. Popiplay has polished the presentation compared with the original Blazing Coins, with smoother animation and a cleaner modern finish.

The Hot Spot is particularly well presented because your eye naturally goes towards the centre even before an eligible Coin gets close to it. During Coin Respins, the different Coin types are also easy to distinguish, which matters when Collectors, Mystery Diamonds and Jackpot Coins can all be sitting on the same tiny board.

Artistically, though, there isn't much to get excited about. Fruit, flames and gold Coins have been sharing slot cabinets for decades, and the 3x3 layout doesn't leave Popiplay much room to create a particularly memorable world around them.

It's clean and functional rather than beautiful.

The Hot Spot and Turbo Collector give Blazing Coins Deluxe some personality, even if the foundations are extremely familiar.

I particularly like using one central position as the gateway into Hold and Win. It creates a recognisable base game objective without needing another pot or collection meter sitting beside the reels.

The Turbo Collector is the stronger idea. Having one symbol remain throughout Coin Respins and repeatedly collect new values creates a nice relationship between what's already locked and whatever arrives next. The 5x Grand multiplier also makes completely filling the grid more interesting than simply receiving another fixed jackpot amount.

Those touches aren't enough to disguise the familiar structure underneath. This is still a classic fruit slot leading into a three Respin Hold and Win bonus, and Popiplay itself describes the game as an enhanced successor to the original Blazing Coins.

The Deluxe version improves the formula rather than reinventing it, which is perfectly reasonable. It just means originality isn't where most of the points are coming from.

Final Summary

Blazing Coins Deluxe: Hold & Win is a very traditional fruit slot that saves nearly all of its better ideas for the moment something useful lands in the middle.

The Hot Spot is a good trigger because it gives the tiny 3x3 grid an obvious focal point, while Coin Respins are considerably more entertaining than the ordinary reels. Regular Coins, Jackpot Coins and Mystery Diamonds provide different prizes to uncover, while Collector Coins can repeatedly make use of values already sitting on the board.

The Turbo Collector is easily the feature I'd most want to see. Keeping it locked for the entire bonus means every new Coin can become another collection opportunity, giving a successful sequence some proper momentum. Completely filling the grid is equally worthwhile because the Grand applies a 5x multiplier to the accumulated feature win rather than simply adding another small fixed prize.

The weakness is everything between bonuses. Five paylines across three reels provide very little room for mechanical variety, and if the Hot Spot isn't cooperating, there isn't another substantial feature waiting to take over. The 2,000x maximum win is also modest by modern Hold and Win standards, although the 96.08% RTP and low to medium volatility make it clear that Popiplay is aiming for a less brutal experience.

Visually, the Deluxe edition is polished without being particularly memorable. Fruit, flames and gold Coins are hardly going to surprise anyone, but the feature is clear, quick and easy to follow.

Blazing Coins Deluxe isn't trying to set the whole slot world on fire. It concentrates the heat in one square, and when the right Coin lands there, the game finally starts burning properly.

Overall Rating: 7.2/10.
