About Burning Power Bell Link Boost

Burning Power Bell Link Boost from Amusnet Interactive's EGT Digital line takes the familiar Burning Power fruit machine and gives it a much more substantial modern jackpot layer. Released in 2026, it uses a traditional 5x3 grid with 50 fixed paylines, with published sources listing an RTP around 96.27%, medium to high volatility depending on the source and maximum game exposure of 8,000x the stake.

Features

Clover Wild (Expanding Wild) (Expanding Wild)

The green Clover acts as the game's Expanding Wild, substituting for ordinary paying symbols and potentially expanding across its reel when involved in a winning combination. It's an extremely familiar mechanic, but it's particularly useful across 50 paylines because a completely Wild central reel can participate in numerous combinations simultaneously. There's nothing complicated about it. Sometimes a Clover is allowed to simply bring a bit of luck without collecting twelve different coloured coins first.

Dollar & Star (Scatter Symbols) (Scatter Symbol)

Burning Power Bell Link Boost includes Dollar and Star Scatter symbols, providing wins independently of the normal 50 paylines. Published paytable information lists the Dollar as the stronger of the two, while the Star provides smaller scattered awards. These help provide occasional base game returns outside normal line combinations, although neither is the symbol you're really waiting to see. That would be the Bells.

Bell Symbols (Bonus Symbols) (Bonus Symbol)

Landing five or more Bell symbols triggers Bell Link Boost. The Bells act as Bonus Symbols, carrying individual values and providing access to the game's main Respin feature. It's a conventional Hold and Win trigger, but the Bells are connected to a considerably broader feature system than simply locking five symbols and starting three Respins.

Bell Link Boost (Hold and Win) (Hold and Win)

Bell Link Boost is the game's version of the industry standard Hold and Win mechanic. Trigger the feature and qualifying Bell symbols remain locked while the other positions Respin. Every additional Bell that lands locks into position and resets the remaining Respins, allowing the feature to continue. This creates the familiar Hold and Win tension. One Bell provides another prize and, more importantly, another opportunity to keep the feature alive. There's a reason developers keep returning to this formula. Watching the grid gradually fill while the counter repeatedly jumps back up remains remarkably effective.

Frame Feature (Persistent Modifier) (Persistent Modifier)

This is the feature that separates the Boost version from a more conventional Bell Link game. The Frame Feature is essentially a Persistent Modifier, allowing framed positions created during play to remain relevant across subsequent base game spins while the stake remains unchanged. That gives the base game something traditional Hold and Win slots often lack: memory. A spin doesn't necessarily exist entirely in isolation. Something established now can influence what happens later. It's a relatively simple idea, but it makes a substantial difference to how the game feels between bonus triggers.

Bell Upgrades (Feature Upgrade) (Feature Upgrade)

Framed Bell positions can develop through the Boost system, creating the possibility of stronger outcomes as the feature state progresses. Independent descriptions identify the evolving Bell states as a central part of the persistent Frame mechanic. This is important because the Frames aren't merely decorative reminders that something happened on the previous spin. They're part of an ongoing feature state. That's considerably more interesting than staring at another completely empty 5x3 grid after every spin.

Boost Modes (Feature Modifiers) (Feature Modifiers)

Bell Link Boost incorporates several bonus enhancements, with published documentation identifying modes including Reels Boost, Credits Boost and 4 Spins Boost. These modify aspects of the underlying Bell Link feature rather than functioning as completely separate bonus games. That's the right approach for this sort of slot. Bell Link remains the central mechanic, while Boost adds variation around it instead of sending you off to play something unrelated.

Mini & Minor (Fixed Jackpots) (Fixed Jackpot)

The Mini and Minor are Fixed Jackpots available through Bell Link Boost. Their values don't increase across the network, distinguishing them from the game's two larger progressive prizes. They're still useful targets during the jackpot feature, but they're not why this game qualifies for our progressive Jackpot Modifier.

Major & Grand (Progressive Jackpots) (Progressive Jackpot)

The Major and Grand are genuine Progressive Jackpots, increasing as qualifying wagers are made across the network until they're won. The Grand represents the biggest prize available and is associated with the game's advertised 8,000x maximum potential. That's an important distinction. Plenty of slots put MINI, MINOR, MAJOR and GRAND above the reels despite every prize being fixed. Here the top two actually progress.

Our Rating

Gameplay

40%
7.5/10

Burning Power Bell Link Boost is more interesting to play than its extremely traditional appearance suggests. The underlying 5x3, 50 payline fruit machine is basic. Regular line wins, Expanding Wilds and Scatters aren't doing anything we haven't seen countless times before. The persistent Frame system changes that. Having feature states capable of carrying between spins creates a longer term objective, while Bell symbols give you something beyond ordinary combinations to watch for. Bell Link itself is also proven gameplay. Locking symbols and repeatedly resetting Respins creates natural tension as the grid fills. It's not sophisticated enough for an 8+, but it's considerably better than simply attaching a Hold and Win bonus to an old fruit machine.

Bonus & Features

30%
8.3/10

This is easily the strongest category. Bell Link provides the central Hold and Win mechanic, Bells carry values, Respins reset as additional symbols land and four jackpot levels provide increasingly valuable targets. The Boost version then adds persistent Frames and feature modifiers on top. The important thing is that most of those features belong together. Bell Link isn't sitting on one side of the game while an unrelated Free Spins feature does something completely different on the other. Boost develops the existing Bell Link formula. Major and Grand progressives provide another substantial element without completely taking over the underlying feature. There's enough here to warrant a strong score.

Visuals & Presentation

20%
6.8/10

This is where Burning Power Bell Link Boost struggles. It's clean, bright and exceptionally easy to read. The fiery Sevens provide a strong focal point, the green Clover stands out immediately and the Bells are visually obvious when they begin appearing. Contemporary descriptions also highlight the crisp feature animations and clear visual treatment of Frames and Bells. But artistically? It's another fruit machine. Cherries, grapes, plums, oranges, BARs, Stars, Bells, Sevens and Clovers aren't giving the art department an enormous amount to work with. There's nothing wrong with deliberately targeting players who enjoy classic slot presentation. We simply can't give it an 8 for visuals because somebody has drawn a particularly shiny plum.

Originality

10%
6.7/10

Most of the ingredients are extremely familiar. Fruit symbols are about as old as slot gaming itself. Expanding Wilds aren't new. Hold and Win certainly isn't new. Four tier jackpot structures aren't new either. The Boost system earns the points. Adding persistent Frames means Bell Link progress can influence subsequent base game spins, addressing one of the weaknesses of conventional Hold and Win games where everything outside the bonus can feel disconnected. That's a meaningful enhancement. But it's still an enhancement to an established formula rather than a genuinely new concept.

Final Summary

Burning Power Bell Link Boost looks like an old fashioned fruit machine until the Bells start appearing, at which point there's considerably more going on underneath the bonnet. The regular 5x3 game is extremely traditional. Fifty paylines, fruit symbols, Sevens, Scatters and an Expanding Clover Wild provide an instantly familiar setup, but there's relatively little happening through normal line wins alone. Bell Link Boost is where the game earns its rating. Five or more Bells provide access to the Hold and Win style Respin feature, where Bells lock into position and additional symbols reset the available Respins. The persistent Frame mechanic then gives this Boost version something more distinctive, allowing feature progress to remain relevant across multiple base game spins rather than completely disappearing after every result. The four jackpot levels add further incentive, with fixed Mini and Minor prizes joined by genuinely progressive Major and Grand jackpots. That earns Burning Power Bell Link Boost our +0.2 Jackpot Modifier. The weakness is originality and presentation. There are only so many times cherries, Sevens and Clovers can be polished before they stop looking new, while Hold and Win has become one of the most heavily used mechanics in the industry. But the Boost system does enough to move this beyond a straightforward Bell Link reskin. The persistent element gives ordinary spins more purpose and makes the game feel like it has some memory rather than simply waiting for five Bells to appear. The fruit might be old school, but at least the Bells have learned a few new tricks. Overall Rating: 7.8/10.
