House of the Dragon puts its dragons to work in a treasure collecting slot with more going on than its familiar foundation first suggests. Syrax can interrupt ordinary spins with useful modifiers, while five bonus enhancements introduce different ways to collect, boost and build cash prizes. The strongest part of the design is how those enhancements interact, giving the bonus more depth than a straightforward collection round, with the Super Bonus bringing everything together. Its dramatic setting adds personality, although the number of overlapping mechanics takes some learning and the gameplay offers fewer surprises once the features become familiar.
