Spurs at lunchtime remain one of football's great mysteries, capable of anything and usually delivering nothing. Aston Villa arrive in decent order and travel well, so this has the look of a cagey, scrappy affair rather than a goal fest. Villa are hard to break down and Spurs have not convinced going forward, which is why I am happy to take the draw here. A goal each and honours shared at 1-1.

15:00 Wrexham AFC v Southampton
Championship
The Racecourse will be bouncing as usual, but Southampton have far too much quality for this level and should be pushing for automatic promotion. Wrexham will have a go and I expect them to get on the scoresheet, they nearly always do, yet their defence has looked open against better teams. Saints to score three and take control, with Wrexham grabbing a consolation. I am going 1-3 to the visitors.

17:30 Nottingham Forest v Coventry City
Premier League
Coventry have been a joy to watch and will not sit back, which suits Forest perfectly. The City Ground is a difficult place to go and Forest carry a serious threat on the counter, so if Coventry commit bodies forward they can be picked off. I fully expect Coventry to score, but I also expect Forest to be too clinical over ninety minutes. A 3-1 home win is my call.
Nottingham Forest 3-1 Coventry City
