Back a Lucky 15 and most bookies pay a consolation if only one of your four horses wins. That means a losing day can still return something.

What is a Lucky 15 bet?
A Lucky 15 is a full cover wager built from four horse racing selections. It gives you every possible combination those four horses can make: four singles, six doubles, four trebles and one fourfold accumulator. That is 15 bets in total, which is where the name comes from. If you stake £1 per bet, the total cost is £15. The big appeal is the safety net. Most bookmakers pay a consolation, usually a double or treble the odds on one winner, so a single winner still returns something. Land all four and you collect on every bet plus an all win bonus, often 10%.
What is a Lucky 31 bet?
A Lucky 31 works the same way but uses five selections. You get five singles, ten doubles, ten trebles, five fourfold accumulators and one fivefold accumulator, making 31 bets. The extra horse raises the stake to £31 at £1 per bet, but it also unlocks bigger bonuses. Many bookies pay a 20% all win bonus if every selection lands, which can turn a strong day into a great one. The consolation for one winner is normally more generous too.
What is a Lucky 63 bet?
A Lucky 63 takes six selections and covers every possible combination across 63 separate bets. That means six singles, fifteen doubles, twenty trebles, fifteen fourfolds, six fivefolds and one sixfold accumulator. At £1 per bet the total outlay is £63, so it suits bettors who want maximum coverage and the biggest all win bonus, typically 25%. It is the widest safety net of the three, with more chances for multiple winners to combine into a meaningful return.
Why play a full cover bet?
The main reason is flexibility. You do not need every horse to win to get paid. One winner refunds part of the stake through the consolation, two winners often turn a small profit, and three or more can produce a serious payout because the doubles and trebles all start firing.
