Frooty Troupe – Cirque du Monéy from GAMOMAT takes the traditional fruit slot and sends it to the circus. Scheduled for release on 15 September 2026, it uses a compact 5x3 grid with 10 paylines, carries a 96.13% RTP and is officially classed by GAMOMAT as low volatility. Alternative RTP configurations can also be supplied for certain markets, so the version at an individual casino may differ.
The Frooty Troupe aren't ordinary pieces of fruit. They're a cast of cartoon fruit characters who have apparently abandoned the fruit bowl and joined show business. This time they're circus performers, with a colourful big top setting, spotlights and a theatrical presentation wrapped around what is actually a very traditional little slot.
Mechanically, Cirque du Monéy is deliberately simple. The headline feature can transform up to three symbols into Wilds, potentially improving the combinations already sitting across the ten paylines. GAMOMAT also includes its traditional Card Gamble and Risk Ladder options, but there are no Free Spins, Hold and Win feature or progressive jackpots.
That's important when judging it. Cirque du Monéy isn't trying to compete with feature packed slots containing six bonus rounds and a 50,000x maximum. It's a low volatility, classic style game designed around frequent straightforward action.
The circus has certainly arrived.
It just hasn't brought every act with it.
The main mechanic is officially called Transformed Symbols, which we'd classify under the broader industry term Symbol Transformation.
During the feature, symbols already sitting on the reels can be transformed, potentially creating improved combinations across the game's ten paylines. GAMOMAT specifically identifies Transformed Symbols as one of the game's principal mechanics.
It's a very straightforward feature, which fits the rest of the game.
There's no collection process, progression meter or complicated sequence of modifiers to understand. The reel result changes and suddenly a combination that wasn't there before may have considerably more potential.
The most important transformation involves Wilds.
When the curtain opens, up to three symbols can transform into Wilds, giving the resulting spin additional opportunities to form or improve winning combinations.
This is easily the game's biggest moment.
Three transformed Wild positions can make a substantial difference on such a small 5x3 grid, particularly when there are only ten paylines to work with.
It's also presented rather nicely within the circus theme. The transformation becomes another act in the show rather than a completely unrelated mathematical modifier.
The Frooty Troupe might not have many tricks, but at least they've rehearsed the main one.
GAMOMAT includes its familiar Card Gamble, an optional Gamble Feature allowing eligible wins to be risked for the opportunity to increase their value.
It's an old fashioned mechanic and doesn't add much depth to the underlying slot, so I wouldn't give the game significant rating credit for including it.
It does suit the intended audience, though. Cirque du Monéy has one foot firmly planted in traditional European fruit machine design, where Gamble options remain a familiar addition.
The game also includes GAMOMAT's Risk Ladder, another form of Gamble Feature where eligible winnings can be risked against progressively higher prize levels. GAMOMAT's German product information confirms both Card Gamble and Risk Ladder.
Again, this is optional rather than part of the main reel mechanics.
Having two ways of gambling a win doesn't suddenly make Cirque du Monéy feature rich, but it does give traditional slot players a little more control over what happens after a successful spin.
Cirque du Monéy is exceptionally easy to understand.
The 5x3 layout and ten paylines provide an old school foundation, while the Symbol Transformation and Wild Feature occasionally change what would otherwise be extremely straightforward reel play. Its officially low volatility mathematical model also tells us what sort of experience GAMOMAT is aiming for.
There's something to be said for simplicity.
Not every slot needs an instruction manual.
The problem is longevity. There's very little progression and the game doesn't have a substantial bonus round waiting in the background. Once you've seen the Wild transformation mechanic, you've essentially understood the entire show.

This has to score relatively low compared with the feature rich games we've reviewed.
The Symbol Transformation mechanic can produce up to three Wilds, while Card Gamble and Risk Ladder provide optional ways to risk ordinary wins.
And that's pretty much your lot.
There are no Free Spins, expanding grids, persistent modifiers, multipliers, Hold and Win rounds or jackpot features.
That's not necessarily bad design. The game is clearly intended to be uncomplicated.
But we're rating what's actually here, not awarding points for features the game deliberately left at home.

This is comfortably Cirque du Monéy's strongest area.
Instead of simply dropping ordinary cherries and watermelons onto another generic fruit machine, GAMOMAT gives the symbols personality and turns them into circus performers. The colourful big top presentation, stage setting and animated fruit characters give an otherwise conventional slot much more identity. GAMOMAT itself describes the game as a lively circus filled with performances and theatrical surprises.
It's bright, cheerful and deliberately silly.
More importantly, it knows exactly what it wants to be.
There are obviously far more technically ambitious slots available in 2026, but good visual design isn't simply about producing the most detailed 3D graphics possible.
Sometimes putting a face on a watermelon and sending it to the circus works perfectly well.

There's an interesting split here.
Mechanically, Cirque du Monéy isn't particularly original. Fixed paylines, Wilds, Symbol Transformations and Gamble Features have existed for years.
The presentation deserves more credit.
Fruit slots are one of the most overused categories in casino gaming, but GAMOMAT's Frooty Troupe concept at least gives those familiar symbols characters and moves them into different settings. Here, the circus theme provides a natural home for the transformations and theatrical Wild reveal.
That's enough to prevent it feeling like another completely anonymous cherry and Seven machine.
But we're not going to pretend that transforming a few symbols into Wilds is revolutionary simply because the lemon has joined the circus.

Frooty Troupe – Cirque du Monéy has considerably more personality than complexity, and that appears to be entirely deliberate.
GAMOMAT has taken a very traditional 5x3, ten payline slot and dressed it up as a colourful circus performance. The main attraction is a Symbol Transformation mechanic capable of turning up to three positions into Wilds, potentially rescuing or improving combinations already sitting across the reels. Card Gamble and Risk Ladder provide a couple of traditional extras, but there are no Free Spins or substantial secondary bonus rounds.
That inevitably limits its Bonus & Features score. Once you've seen the transformation mechanic in action, there isn't another major layer waiting to reveal itself.
Visually, it's much better. The Frooty Troupe characters give the game genuine personality and the circus setting is a clever way of making another fruit slot feel less generic. It's colourful without becoming messy and silly without looking completely disposable.
The 96.13% headline RTP is respectable too, although GAMOMAT confirms that alternative RTP models can be provided for individual markets, so the live paytable should always take precedence.
This isn't a game for someone looking for enormous feature depth. It's aimed much more towards players who like straightforward, lower volatility fruit slots but want something livelier than another screen filled with anonymous cherries and BARs.
There is no progressive jackpot, so no Jackpot Modifier applies.
The Frooty Troupe puts on a good show. It could just do with a few more acts before the curtain comes down.
