About Reaper Riches

Reaper Riches from Atomic Slot Lab takes us somewhere considerably less cheerful than its previous Bioluminanza release. This time we're heading into a candlelit graveyard filled with skulls, ghosts, tombstones and the Grim Reaper himself. It's a familiar horror setting, but the darker presentation suits a game built around collecting prizes and chasing jackpots.

Underneath the graveyard theme is a fairly substantial feature set. Reaper Riches uses a five reel setup with 1,875 ways to win, while its main attractions include Cash Collect mechanics, Respins, Free Spins, sticky symbols and Fixed Jackpots. The maximum win is listed at 13,500x the stake, so there's considerably more buried in this cemetery than a few old bones.

The game appears to put particular emphasis on its special prize symbols and the interaction between them. Cash values can be collected, symbols can remain in place during feature sequences and additional Wilds can be introduced to improve the grid. That gives Reaper Riches a more active feel than a straightforward five reel horror slot where you're simply waiting for three Scatters to appear.

Atomic Slot Lab hasn't exactly discovered a new theme here. Graveyards and Grim Reapers have been haunting slot lobbies for years. What matters more is whether there's enough happening underneath the black cloak, and Reaper Riches certainly appears to have packed plenty into the feature list.

One point worth noting is the release date. Some databases currently list Reaper Riches as released on 1 September 2026, while Bragg's own 2026 roadmap lists it for 26 November 2026. Given that Atomic Slot Lab content is distributed through Bragg, I'd treat the November date as the stronger release reference and the September appearance as an early listing or preview until Bragg updates otherwise.

Features

Prize Symbols (Cash Prizes)

Prize Symbols carry individual values that become important when the game's collection mechanics come into play. Rather than simply behaving like ordinary paying symbols, they're effectively prizes waiting for the right feature to turn up and do something with them.

It's a very familiar concept in modern slots, but it creates an obvious target on the grid. Once several useful values are visible, your attention naturally shifts away from ordinary combinations and towards whether the game can actually get them collected.

Seeing the riches is one thing. Convincing the Reaper to hand them over is another.

Collect Symbols (Cash Collect)

The Cash Collect mechanic provides the route for gathering Prize values from the reels. Cash Collect is confirmed among the game's core features in current game data.

There isn't much originality in the concept itself. We've reviewed enough Collect slots already to know that sticking numbers on symbols and adding a Collector isn't going to earn bonus points simply for turning up.

Where Reaper Riches becomes more interesting is the amount of additional machinery surrounding those prizes. Respins, sticky symbols, additional symbols and jackpots give the collection mechanic more opportunities to interact with other parts of the game.

Hold and Respin (Hold and Win)

Reaper Riches includes a Hold and Respin feature, locking qualifying symbols into position while providing additional opportunities to fill the remaining spaces. Both SlotWise and SlotCatalog identify Hold and Respin or Respins among the game's central mechanics.

It's another extremely established mechanic, so execution matters much more than simply having it.

The attraction is the usual one. Each new useful symbol keeps the feature alive and gradually fills the playing area, turning what can begin as a relatively empty grid into something considerably more interesting.

Sticky Symbols

Certain feature symbols can remain Sticky, holding their positions rather than disappearing immediately after a spin. Sticky symbols are specifically identified in the current game data.

They make particular sense alongside Respins because progress can accumulate rather than every new result wiping the slate clean.

It's hardly groundbreaking, but watching a feature physically build across the screen is generally more satisfying than repeatedly starting from scratch.

Added Wilds (Random Wilds)

Reaper Riches can introduce Added Wilds onto the grid, providing additional substitutes for regular symbols and improving the possibilities of forming wins. Current game data categorises the mechanic as Random or Additional Wilds.

This is one of the simpler additions in the game, but not every feature needs three pages of instructions. Wilds appear, more positions become useful and the grid gets stronger.

Sometimes the Grim Reaper can just give you a Wild without making a song and dance about it.

Free Spins

Free Spins provide another bonus element alongside the Hold and Respin mechanics. Current game records confirm Free Spins are included, although detailed official rules for the feature have not yet been published by Bragg or Atomic Slot Lab in the sources I could verify.

For that reason, I wouldn't invent details about the number of spins, retriggers or any special Free Spins modifiers until the official game sheet becomes available.

That's something I want us to be strict about with these reviews. If we know a feature exists but don't have reliable documentation explaining exactly how it behaves, we'll say what we can verify rather than filling the gaps.

Fixed Jackpots (Fixed Prizes)

Reaper Riches includes Fixed Jackpots, providing additional prize targets alongside the regular Cash Collect and Hold and Respin gameplay. Both SlotCatalog and SlotWise identify Fixed Jackpots as part of the game.

They're fixed rather than progressive, so there's no network jackpot growing in the background as with Dream Drop.

From a rating perspective, the jackpots add something to Bonus & Features, but I'm not giving the game extra marks simply because the word jackpot appears on the screen. How those jackpots are incorporated into the actual gameplay is what matters.

Feature Buy (Bonus Buy)

A Feature Buy is also listed for Reaper Riches, providing direct access to bonus gameplay in jurisdictions where the mechanic is permitted.

As with the other reviews, I wouldn't award additional rating points simply for offering one. It's an alternative method of accessing the feature rather than another feature in its own right.

Our Rating

Gameplay

40%
7.5/10

There's clearly plenty happening in Reaper Riches, with Cash Prizes, Collectors, Respins, Sticky Symbols and additional Wilds all contributing to the gameplay.

The issue is familiarity. Cash Collect and Hold and Win have become two of the most heavily used mechanics in modern slots, and Reaper Riches combines both. That doesn't make the game poor, but it means Atomic Slot Lab needs the interaction between those mechanics to do the work.

The 1,875 ways setup and multiple feature routes give it enough depth to remain interesting, but I don't think we'd be justified pushing Gameplay into the 8s purely on the number of features.

Bonus & Features

30%
8.0/10

This is where Reaper Riches looks strongest.

You've got Cash Collect, Hold and Respin, Sticky Symbols, additional Wilds, Free Spins and Fixed Jackpots all operating within the same game.

That's a substantial package, particularly when several of those mechanics can interact rather than existing as completely separate bonus rounds.

I'm stopping at 8.0 for now because detailed official documentation is still limited. Once the final game information is available, we may discover more interaction between the features that justifies moving this upwards.

Visuals & Presentation

20%
8.0/10

Reaper Riches has a strong visual identity, even if the subject matter isn't particularly original. The cemetery setting, candles, skulls, spectral imagery and Grim Reaper character create a suitably gloomy environment, with current screenshots showing a much darker look than the colourful Bioluminanza we reviewed from the same studio.

The important prize and feature symbols also stand out against the darker background, which matters in a game where you're supposed to be tracking values and sticky positions.

Atomic Slot Lab hasn't reinvented horror, but the presentation looks polished and appropriately grim.

Originality

10%
6.4/10

This is where I'm marking Reaper Riches down.

Grim Reapers, graveyards, Cash Collect, Hold and Win, Fixed Jackpots and Sticky Symbols are all very familiar slot territory. Even combining Cash Collect with Hold and Win isn't particularly unusual anymore.

That doesn't mean Atomic Slot Lab hasn't put the ingredients together well. The game appears to have enough interaction between its different features to establish its own gameplay identity.

But our Originality score needs to mean something. If we're giving 8s to games built primarily from established mechanics and established themes, genuinely inventive slots won't have anywhere left to go.

Final Summary

Reaper Riches has plenty buried beneath the surface, even if Atomic Slot Lab has been digging in a fairly familiar part of the cemetery.

Cash Collect and Hold and Win provide the foundations, while Sticky Symbols, additional Wilds, Free Spins and Fixed Jackpots give the game considerably more to work with. The dark presentation suits the theme nicely and a maximum potential of 13,500x gives the Reaper something substantial to guard.

Originality is what holds the rating back. We've seen graveyards before and we've certainly seen plenty of Collect and Respin slots. What Reaper Riches appears to do well is bring those familiar ingredients together into a feature rich package without making the game unnecessarily difficult to follow.

Overall Rating: 7.6/10.
