Give Me Gold: Explode Power Combo is a 2026 release from All For One Studios, distributed through Games Global, that sends the familiar Give Me Gold prospector back underground with rather more dynamite than any sensible mining operation would permit. Released on 6 October 2026, it starts on a 5x4 grid with 40 fixed paylines, expanding to 5x6 with 60 paylines during Free Spins. The headline RTP is 96.20%, volatility is medium and the hit frequency is 28.22%.
The mine itself will look familiar to anyone who knows the wider Give Me Gold series. Timber supports, glowing rock, mining equipment and the old prospector surround the reels, but three coloured Dynamite boxes immediately tell you where this version is heading. Blue controls Wilds, green controls Jackpots and red controls Multipliers, with the real attraction coming when two or even all three powers are active together.
There's also more happening in the base game than simply waiting for Free Spins. A random Power Spin can activate one of the three Dynamite powers for a single spin, while Gold Nuggets feed a persistent Fortune Wheel that can award prizes or improve the powers waiting for future bonuses. That gives regular play a useful sense of progression because the mine can become more valuable before you've actually managed to blow anything up.
Free Spins are deliberately short at five spins, but that's where the Power Combo idea earns its name. One coloured Scatter gives you its corresponding power, two colours combine their mechanics and getting all three brings Sticky Wilds, Jackpot Gems and the Multiplier Zone into the same feature. +1 symbols can extend the round, so five spins is the starting point rather than necessarily the full story.
The old miner has spent enough time underground to know where the gold is. This time he's apparently decided finding it would be quicker if he simply blew up the entire mountain.
A base-game spin can randomly become a Power Spin, activating one of the three Power Combo modifiers for that single result. Blue can add Sticky Wilds, green introduces Jackpot Gems carrying Cash values and red activates a 2x2 Multiplier Zone.
I like this because it gives the three headline mechanics something to do before Free Spins arrive. You're effectively getting a brief preview of the stronger features rather than spending the whole base game staring at three Dynamite boxes and wondering when they'll finally earn their place above the reels.
The Multiplier Zone is particularly interesting because simply having a payline pass through it isn't enough. A winning symbol must actually sit inside the Zone for the multiplier to apply, so its positioning matters rather than it behaving like a blanket multiplier across the whole screen.
Gold Nuggets appear during base play and feed a five-position container linked to the Fortune Wheel. Collect all five and the wheel activates.
This gives ordinary spins some welcome persistence. Even if a Nugget doesn't dramatically improve the current result, it moves you another step towards something that can, and that progress isn't simply there for decoration.
It's also entirely appropriate that the prospector spends most of his time collecting little bits of gold before occasionally discovering something worth considerably more. At least somebody in the mine is following a realistic business model.
Fill the Gold Nugget container and the Fortune Wheel can award a Cash Prize, Jackpot, Free Spins trigger or an UP improvement to one of the three Power Combo mechanics. The wheel itself develops through levels, with its prizes improving as progression continues until the relevant sections reach MAX.
This is one of my favourite parts of the game because the wheel isn't simply a random prize dispenser that resets immediately afterwards. Its progression gives repeated Nugget collections some longer-term purpose.
The UP rewards are particularly useful. Blue can increase the number of Sticky Wilds, red can improve the Multiplier and green can strengthen the Jackpot values. That means a wheel result can make a later Free Spins feature better rather than simply paying something and disappearing.
The blue Dynamite controls Wild Power, which introduces Sticky Wilds during Powered Free Spins. The number available depends on the level reached before the feature, with as many as 10 Sticky Wilds possible.
On the expanded 5x6 grid, that's potentially a lot of permanent Wild coverage for a five-spin feature. Get several into useful positions early and every remaining spin benefits from them, which makes the short initial allocation feel considerably less restrictive.
Of the three powers, this is probably the easiest to appreciate immediately. Once a Wild sticks, you know exactly what you've gained and how long you've got left to use it.
Green Dynamite activates Jackpot Power, introducing coloured Gem Symbols that feed four jackpot levels during Free Spins. The Mini starts at 10x and can reach 35x, the Minor ranges from 20x to 70x, the Major from 250x to 500x, while collecting five red Gems awards the 10,000x Grand.
I like the fact that these jackpots have to be built during the feature rather than simply appearing as another Coin marked GRAND. You can see the coloured Gem collections developing and know which prize you're moving towards.
The Grand is obviously the headline target, but the ability to improve the smaller jackpot values before entering Free Spins gives the green Dynamite progression some purpose even when the 10,000x prize remains stubbornly out of reach.
Red Dynamite activates Multiplier Power, creating a 1x3 Multiplier Zone during Free Spins. The Zone expands as the feature progresses, while its multiplier can be upgraded as high as 25x.
This is probably my favourite of the three individual powers because both the size and strength of the mechanic can improve.
A small Zone with a modest multiplier is useful without being spectacular, but once it begins covering more of the grid and the value starts climbing, far more winning combinations have the opportunity to benefit.
There's something suitably destructive about the red Dynamite gradually taking over more of the reels. The miner may have started looking for gold, but by this point he's mostly redecorating the cave with explosives.
Landing a coloured Dynamite Scatter can trigger 5 Powered Free Spins, with the colour determining which Power mechanic becomes active. The reels expand from 5x4 to 5x6, increasing the game from 40 to 60 paylines for the duration of the feature.
Five spins initially feels stingy, and there's no getting around that. The trade-off is that these are substantially stronger spins than the base game, particularly if the associated Power has already been upgraded.
I prefer the fact that All For One Studios has concentrated the action into a short, more powerful feature rather than simply handing out fifteen spins that behave almost exactly like normal play. The risk is obvious, though: five disappointing results and the whole explosion can feel more like a damp firework.
Landing two differently coloured Dynamite Scatters combines their respective powers in the same Free Spins feature, while triggering all three colours activates the complete Power Combo with Wild, Jackpot and Multiplier mechanics running together.
This is easily the game's strongest idea.
Blue and red can combine Sticky Wilds with the expanding Multiplier Zone. Green and red pair Jackpot Gems with stronger multiplied line wins, while blue and green give you permanent Wild coverage alongside the jackpot chase. Get all three and the feature finally feels as explosive as the title promises.
More importantly, these combinations genuinely change the bonus rather than simply giving you three icons above the same Free Spins round. The mechanics can complement one another, particularly when Sticky Wilds start contributing to wins passing through an upgraded Multiplier Zone.
Special +1 symbols can add another spin during Powered Free Spins. When Multiplier Power is active, a Dynamite version can also increase the Multiplier Power while extending the feature.
This matters more than it would in a bonus starting with ten or fifteen spins. With only five guaranteed, every additional spin represents a significant extension and another opportunity to benefit from the powers already active.
A couple of +1s can therefore make a much bigger difference than the modest name suggests, particularly once Sticky Wilds or a strong Multiplier Zone have already been established.
Once Free Spins have triggered, Upsizer can offer paid enhancements to the feature, including additional Sticky Wilds, stronger starting Multipliers or access to higher Jackpot levels. It improves the bonus already triggered rather than awarding extra spins.
It's an interesting option because the value depends heavily on which Power combination you've already landed. Strengthening a single modest modifier is one thing; improving a feature where two or three powers are about to interact can be considerably more tempting.
Mechanically, though, the best version of Give Me Gold is still the one that develops its powers naturally through Nuggets, the Fortune Wheel and the Scatter combinations.
Boost increases the wager by 20% in return for a better chance of triggering Powered Free Spins. It doesn't alter the paytable or improve the feature once it begins.
It's a straightforward trade-off for anyone who wants more emphasis on the Power Combo part of the game, although the Fortune Wheel progression already gives the base game enough purpose that I don't think ordinary play desperately needs shortening.
Give Me Gold: Explode Power Combo does a good job of making the base game feel connected to the feature you're ultimately trying to reach.
The Fortune Wheel is a big reason for that. Gold Nuggets create visible progress, while the UP rewards can strengthen Wild, Multiplier or Jackpot powers for later. That means ordinary spins aren't simply dead time between Free Spins triggers because some of what you're doing can improve the quality of the bonus when it finally arrives.
Power Spins help too. Getting a brief burst of Sticky Wilds, Gems or the Multiplier Zone gives the base game occasional spikes of activity without interrupting its wider progression.
The five-spin bonus is where I have mixed feelings. When two or three Powers are active, those five spins can be packed with possibilities and the short format gives every result some urgency. Trigger one weaker Power and fail to find any +1 symbols, however, and the feature can be over just as it feels like it has started.
The 96.20% RTP and medium volatility are both positives, and the 28.22% hit frequency suggests the game isn't entirely reliant on rare feature hits for activity.
There's enough happening above and around the reels to keep the mining shift interesting.
The Power Combo system is excellent because combining colours genuinely produces a stronger and more interesting feature rather than simply stacking a few extra rewards together.
Wild Power gives you persistent coverage. Multiplier Power creates an expanding area capable of reaching 25x. Jackpot Power provides a completely separate Gem collection chase towards prizes including a 10,000x Grand, while the overall maximum win is 14,750x. When two or three of those systems are running simultaneously, they naturally begin helping one another.
I particularly like the full three-colour feature because there's more than one thing worth watching on every spin. Sticky Wilds can improve the paylines, the Multiplier Zone can make those wins substantially stronger and Gems can continue building towards the jackpots in the background.
The Fortune Wheel progression also deserves credit because it can improve those Powers before the feature starts. That creates a relationship between base-game persistence and bonus strength that many feature-heavy slots never bother establishing.
Five starting spins is the main limitation. The +1 symbols can extend things, but a strong Power Combo deserves enough time to show what it can do, and occasionally the feature ends before the dynamite has really gone off.
Even with that criticism, this is a very strong feature package.
The Give Me Gold mine is polished and full of character, although anyone familiar with the series won't feel as though the prospector has discovered an entirely new tunnel.
Mining equipment, wooden supports, Gems and glowing gold give the reels an appropriately warm underground appearance, while the three coloured Dynamite boxes make the Power Combo system immediately understandable. The blue, green and red coding also does useful work mechanically because you quickly learn which power each colour represents.
The feature presentation is considerably stronger than the basic mine itself. Watching the grid expand to six rows gives Free Spins more presence, Sticky Wilds visibly build across the reels and the Multiplier Zone gradually occupies more space as the bonus develops.
The prospector remains a likeable enough mascot too. He looks like a man who has spent several games digging for gold and still hasn't considered whether retirement might be easier.
The setting is familiar, but the Power Combo effects give this particular visit enough visual energy.
Give Me Gold: Explode Power Combo earns its originality through the way the three powers can be mixed rather than through another trip down the mine.
Each colour is useful on its own, but the important design decision is allowing different Dynamite Scatters to combine. Blue and red create a feature built around Sticky Wilds and Multipliers, green and red combine jackpot hunting with stronger line wins, while all three produce a bonus where several different systems can develop simultaneously.
The Fortune Wheel adds another distinctive layer because it can progressively improve those same powers during base play. You're not merely collecting Nuggets to trigger a random prize; you're potentially making future Power Combo rounds stronger.
That's what gives the game a coherent identity. The wheel, coloured Scatters and Free Spins are all talking to one another rather than behaving like three unrelated features occupying the same slot.
The Give Me Gold setting itself is obviously established, and sticky Wilds, multipliers and jackpots aren't individually unusual mechanics. It's the way All For One Studios lets them combine and develop that deserves the credit.
Overall Rating
8.3/10
Give Me Gold: Explode Power Combo is one of the stronger Give Me Gold variations because the Power Combo name describes something meaningful rather than simply being another label attached to the series.
Blue Dynamite controls Sticky Wilds, green controls the Jackpot Gems and red controls an expanding Multiplier Zone capable of reaching 25x. Any one of those can make Powered Free Spins worthwhile, but the game becomes considerably better when two colours trigger together and best of all when all three Powers are active in the same feature.
The Fortune Wheel gives the base game some genuine purpose as well. Five Gold Nuggets activate it, while UP rewards can strengthen the same Wild, Jackpot and Multiplier Powers you're hoping to use later. That persistent development means the bonus doesn't exist in complete isolation from everything you've been doing beforehand.
The biggest criticism is the five-spin starting allocation. +1 symbols can extend the feature, but a weaker trigger can disappear quickly, and even a strong Power Combo occasionally feels as though somebody has lit the fuse and then ended the shift before the explosion finished. The 96.20% RTP and medium volatility soften that criticism somewhat, while the expanded 5x6 bonus grid and 60 paylines give those few spins plenty of room to work.
The jackpot structure provides plenty of potential too, culminating in a 10,000x Grand through Jackpot Power, with an overall maximum win of 14,750x. Better sourcing now shows 14,750x is the total maximum exposure, while the 10,000x figure reflects the Grand jackpot alone.
Visually, another trip into the Give Me Gold mine isn't going to win awards for reinvention, but the three Dynamite powers provide enough colour and movement to make this particular expedition stand out mechanically.
The prospector has spent years asking the reels to give him gold. With three boxes of dynamite sitting above them, he's apparently stopped asking nicely.
