About Shark Pop: Coin Collect

Shark Pop: Coin Collect is a 2026 release from All For One Studios, distributed through Games Global. Released on 9 June 2026, it uses a 5x3 grid with 20 fixed paylines and builds almost everything around three sharks named Berry, Splash and Goldie, each associated with a different tier of Cash Coins. The headline RTP is 96.15%, with lower configurations available, while the game offers maximum win potential of 20,000x the stake through its Grand Jackpot.

The underwater setting is bright and cartoonish rather than remotely threatening. Berry, Splash and Goldie hover above the reels waiting to be fed Coins, while treasure chests, anchors, bells and other nautical symbols fill the grid below. These aren't sharks you're particularly worried about meeting in the water. If anything, they look more interested in loose change than swimmers.

The base game has a useful Coin Collect mechanic that prevents everything interesting being saved for the bonus. Purple, blue and gold Coins can carry values reaching 50x the stake, and landing the Collect Symbol on reel five gathers all the visible Coin values before applying a multiplier of up to 5x.

Coins that aren't collected aren't necessarily wasted either. They feed the three sharks above the reels and can trigger their respective Berry, Splash or Goldie Bonus Games. Each bonus uses a Hold and Win style setup with Sticky Coins, resetting spins, Mystery Symbols and a growing multiplier, while collecting enough Coins opens the route towards the Mini, Major and 20,000x Grand Jackpot.

That's what gives Shark Pop a bit more personality than the title initially suggests. The sharks aren't simply cartoon mascots watching the reels. They're tied directly into the bonus structure, and which one gets fed can determine the quality of the feature you receive.

Features

Purple, Blue & Gold Coins (Cash Symbols)

Three different Cash Coin tiers appear during the base game, with their colour determining the range of values available. The lower tier carries values between 1x and 5x, the middle tier ranges from 6x to 15x, while the premium Gold Coins can be worth 20x, 25x, 30x, 40x or 50x the stake.

I like the tiered approach because you know immediately how interesting a screen is becoming. Several smaller Coins give the Collect Symbol something useful to work with, but seeing Gold Coins scattered across the reels naturally makes reel five considerably more important.

It also gives the three sharks a reason to exist beyond decoration, with each colour linked to its own version of the bonus.

Collect (Cash Collect)

The Collect Symbol appears exclusively on reel five. Land it alongside at least one Cash Coin and every visible Coin value is immediately gathered and paid.

That's a simple mechanic, but it gives ordinary spins a nice bit of tension. Once several Coins have landed across the first four reels, you're watching the final reel and hoping the Collector can finish the job.

The feature works particularly well when Gold Coins are involved. A screen containing a couple of 30x or 50x values suddenly makes that last reel feel like a very expensive piece of ocean.

Collect Multiplier (Random Multiplier)

When the Collect Feature activates, the gathered Coin values can receive an additional multiplier of up to 5x.

This gives the base game collection more upside than simply adding the visible values together. A relatively modest collection can become considerably healthier if the stronger multiplier appears, while an already valuable group of Gold Coins can produce something much more substantial.

It's a straightforward addition, but exactly the sort of feature that works well with Cash Collect because the multiplier becomes more exciting in direct proportion to how good the screen already looks.

Shark Feeding (Persistent Collection)

Cash Coins that aren't collected can instead feed Berry, Splash and Goldie, causing the corresponding shark to grow and potentially trigger its Bonus Game.

This is one of the game's better ideas because missing the Collect Symbol doesn't necessarily make every Coin on the screen irrelevant. The sharks provide another destination for that activity and create some visible progress above the reels.

It also ties the theme directly into the mechanics. The three sharks aren't hanging around because somebody in the art department thought the ocean looked empty. Feeding them is how you reach the game's bigger features.

Berry Bonus (Hold and Win)

The Berry Bonus is one of three shark specific Hold and Win features and uses the lowest value Coin tier.

The feature begins with three spins, with landed Coins remaining Sticky and each new Coin or Mystery Symbol resetting the counter. Mystery Symbols can reveal another Coin, provide an Extra Spin or increase the active multiplier.

Berry naturally offers the smallest individual Coin values, so this is the least explosive of the three shark bonuses. The underlying feature is still enjoyable, particularly once Mystery Symbols start improving the multiplier, but if you're going swimming with one of these sharks, Berry isn't the one carrying the biggest wallet.

Splash Bonus (Hold and Win)

The Splash Bonus uses the middle Coin tier while retaining the same three spin Hold and Win structure. Coins remain Sticky, new qualifying symbols keep the feature alive and Mystery Symbols can improve the developing bonus.

This sits nicely between Berry and Goldie. The Coin values are stronger without immediately jumping to the premium Gold tier, giving Splash a clear place within the three feature structure rather than simply changing the shark's colour.

The important point is that the bonus you're entering already tells you something about the value range you're going to be working with.

Goldie Bonus (Hold and Win)

The Goldie Bonus is the premium version of the Hold and Win feature, using Gold Coins carrying values between 20x and 50x the stake.

This is obviously the shark I'd most want to wake up.

The rules don't need to become dramatically more complicated because the Coin values themselves make Goldie substantially more attractive. Filling several positions with 20x to 50x Coins gives the same Hold and Win structure considerably more bite than it has with the lower tiers.

For once, swimming towards the gold shark seems like the sensible option.

Mystery (Mystery Symbol)

Mystery Symbols can land during the Bonus Games and reveal one of three useful outcomes: another Coin, an Extra Spin or a Multiplier Booster worth between +1x and +5x.

This is probably my favourite part of the bonus because a Mystery can help in several different ways depending on what the feature needs.

Another Coin pushes you towards the jackpot thresholds, an Extra Spin can rescue a bonus that's running out of chances, while a Multiplier Booster improves the value of the collection you've already built.

There's rarely a bad time for one to appear.

Multiplier Booster (Increasing Multiplier)

The bonus begins with a 1x multiplier, which Mystery Symbols can increase through Multiplier Boosters worth +1x to +5x. The improved multiplier applies to qualifying Coin collections rather than the fixed Jackpot prizes.

I particularly like this because the bonus can become stronger as it develops. Collecting plenty of Coins is useful on its own, but building the multiplier alongside them means a feature that survives for longer can become considerably more valuable than one that quickly runs out of spins.

It gives you two things to develop at once without making the feature difficult to understand.

Mini, Major & Grand (Fixed Jackpots)

The Bonus Games contain three Fixed Jackpots tied directly to the number of Coins collected.

Reaching 10 Coins awards the 10x Mini, 13 Coins awards the 50x Major, while completely filling all 15 positions awards the 20,000x Grand. Jackpot prizes aren't increased by the bonus multiplier.

The jump from Major to Grand is enormous, but that's what makes the final couple of positions so interesting. Thirteen Coins gets you 50x; filling the complete grid suddenly takes the feature all the way to 20,000x.

That's quite an incentive to persuade the final two Coins to stop swimming around and get onto the reels.

Shark Pop: Coin Collect does a good job of making its Cash Symbols matter even when you haven't reached the main bonus.

The Collect Symbol on reel five creates an immediate little chase whenever several Coins land elsewhere. You can see the values already sitting there and know exactly what you're waiting for, while the random multiplier gives a successful collection some additional upside.

I also like the shark feeding system because Coins aren't simply forgotten when the Collector misses them. Feeding Berry, Splash and Goldie gives the base game a second purpose and ties ordinary spins into the larger bonus structure.

The game becomes considerably better once one of the sharks triggers, particularly because the Mystery Symbols give you several ways of improving the feature. The main weakness is familiarity. Anyone who has played plenty of Cash Collect and Hold and Win games will understand most of the structure very quickly.

The mechanics are familiar, but they're put together well enough to keep the water moving.

The three shark bonuses give Shark Pop more variety than a single generic Hold and Win feature would have managed.

I particularly like the relationship between the Coin tiers and the sharks. Triggering Berry, Splash or Goldie immediately tells you something about the sort of values you're going to be collecting, so the three bonuses aren't simply identical features wearing different coloured fins.

Mystery Symbols improve things further. Coins help fill the grid, Extra Spins can keep a promising round alive and Multiplier Boosters allow the eventual collection to become progressively stronger.

Goldie is naturally the highlight because working exclusively with the premium 20x to 50x Coin range makes every successful position feel worthwhile. The 20,000x Grand then gives all three features a serious ultimate target.

There's plenty happening without the bonus becoming difficult to follow, which is exactly where this type of game works best.

Berry, Splash and Goldie give Shark Pop considerably more personality than another underwater Coin slot really needed.

The sharks are colourful, expressive and immediately distinguishable, while their growth above the reels provides a visual connection between ordinary Coin activity and the bonuses you're trying to reach. The underwater setting itself is bright and playful, with coral, treasure and nautical symbols keeping the screen busy without making the important Cash Coins difficult to spot.

The colour coding is particularly useful. You quickly associate each Coin tier with its shark, so there's very little confusion about which feature a particular symbol is feeding.

It's still another underwater treasure slot, and that theme has been around the ocean a few times already. The three sharks give this one enough character to keep its head above water.

The strongest idea in Shark Pop is making the three Cash Coin tiers part of three separate shark progressions rather than treating them as different values of the same symbol.

That gives Berry, Splash and Goldie an actual mechanical purpose. Coins can be collected immediately through reel five or contribute towards triggering the corresponding shark bonus, which makes the base game and Hold and Win features feel connected.

I also like that each bonus retains the Coin tier associated with the shark that triggered it. Goldie therefore isn't simply Berry with a gold coat of paint; the premium Coin range genuinely changes the potential of the feature.

The underlying ingredients are recognisable, so I wouldn't push originality into the 8s. Cash Collect, Hold and Win, Mystery Symbols and growing multipliers have all been used extensively elsewhere.

What Shark Pop does well is arrange those ideas around three characters that actually matter.

Final Summary

Shark Pop: Coin Collect takes a familiar Cash Collect formula and gives it enough personality and progression to avoid disappearing into a very crowded sea of Coin slots.

The base game Collect feature is simple but effective. Purple, blue and gold Coins can carry increasingly valuable prizes, while a Collect Symbol on reel five gathers everything in view and can add a multiplier of up to 5x. Coins that escape the Collector still have a purpose because they feed Berry, Splash and Goldie towards their respective Bonus Games.

Those bonuses are where the game earns most of its score. Sticky Coins and resetting spins provide the familiar Hold and Win foundation, but Mystery Symbols can add Coins, extend the feature or improve its multiplier. Having three different Coin tiers also means reaching Goldie's premium bonus feels meaningfully better than triggering the lower value version.

The jackpot structure gives the feature a particularly sharp finish. Ten Coins awards the Mini and thirteen gets the Major, but filling all fifteen positions jumps all the way to the 20,000x Grand. That makes the final spaces considerably more exciting than simply squeezing another small Coin onto the board.

The headline 96.15% RTP is attractive, although lower 94.15% and 92.15% configurations exist, while published volatility classifications vary between medium and high depending on the source.

Most importantly, the sharks aren't just mascots pasted above another Coin game. Their colours, growth and bonus tiers are tied directly into how the slot works, and Goldie in particular gives you a very obvious shark to hope turns up hungry.

Shark Pop proves that feeding sharks can occasionally be a very good idea, particularly when the gold one is paying up to 50x a bite.

Overall Rating: 8.0/10.
