Barry Hill's Daily Racing Tips
Barry Hill's daily horse racing tips come from Hamilton, Fontwell, Kempton, Yarmouth
So, yesterday didn't go to plan and was generally a bit of a disaster. With non-runners, unseated riders and the other selections just finishing outside the places, I need to make it up to you. I have six tips today ranging in price, but generally all solid picks. I especially like EPONAS PAS in the very last race of the day at Hamilton. Currently, at 14/1, I'm certain this will go off under 10/1 SP, so an each-way bet is my bet of the day.

FIVE WINDS - 11/8
This race could favour the unexposed FIVE WINDS, who arguably delivered a career-best performance when placing at Leicester last month. A 1lb drop in the ratings for that effort could be very lenient, giving Jack Jones' filly an edge over veteran Mokaatil and last year's close second Lilkian, who returns with a 5lb lower mark this time. Highly progressive on the all-weather this year, White Mist has yet to replicate that form on turf but remains a dangerous contender.

NO MORE NO - 10/3
NO MORE NO delivered a surprising victory by over two lengths in his handicap debut over 2m6f at Stratford last month and now steps up in trip. The son of Alkaadhem appears to have more potential and seems the one to beat again. Dear Ralphy, who narrowly missed first place over this track and trip last time, should perform well with an unchanged mark. Meanwhile, No Worries might improve on his recent fourth-place finish at Ludlow.

DASHING DONKEY - 9/2
Keen Interest delivered his best performance since joining Alice Haynes in February, securing a place in a handicap at Bath last month. The son of Kodiac should be a strong contender now that he's entered classified company, but the slight preference goes to DASHING DONKEY. The three-year-old was narrowly beaten over C&D on his penultimate start, and replicating that effort could be enough to win. Split Elevens and Darker also deserve consideration.

EARTH CRY - 7/4
Having finished runner-up in his last three starts, including a recent race at Uttoxeter where he was bested by a subsequent winner, EARTH CRY is due for a change of fortune. This unique track might just bring out his best. Neil Mulholland's contender is slightly favoured over Warwick second Blow Your Horn and Tip Top Tonto, who has strong credentials based on his penultimate performance at Fakenham.

ART PATRON -10/3
ART PATRON, a full-sister to the 7f Listed winner and Group 3-placed Eternally, is an intriguing prospect for Andrew Balding on her racecourse debut. Additionally, Eighth Avenue, who was purchased for 240,000gns as a yearling and shares lineage with the Queen Mary winner Ceiling Kitty, should not be overlooked. Never The Twain and The Terminus also present interesting possibilities.

EPONA PAS - 14/1 (E/W)
Ledger aims for a hat-trick of course wins, having secured victory a fortnight ago, and he can race off a lower mark when his rider's claim is considered. Both Golden Valour and True Nation, who were ridden by 7lb claimers when winning at Ayr and Nottingham respectively, face tougher challenges this time. EPONA PAS, yet to win, but trained by Jim Goldie, finished third in a higher grade over this course and distance last time and appears poised to be a strong contender off his current mark.
