Form
Slovenia and Denmark were paired together in qualifying with very little to separate the two sides. Both nations finished level at the top of their qualifying group but it was Denmark that finished as group winners due to their superior head-to-head results. Slovenia are unbeaten in five internationals in 2024 but were held to a 2-2 draw away at Malta in March.
Denmark lost at Northern Ireland in their final qualification match but their place at Euro 2024 was already confirmed by this point. Prior to that defeat in Belfast, Denmark had won six and drawn one of their previous seven internationals.
